I just got word that my 'shipment' was received by Sanchez Cartage Inc, Hallenen System, Black Rise region.

This is the RPG aspect of this game... It may not be what you want while in BETA, but the fact remains.

Most of these are not designed for standard infantry use. Plasma Rifles we have would flay the operator alive. The HMG has had been a vechile mounted weapon before. Drop Uplinks is based on extremly new technologies in eve online side itself trying to reverse engineer what the sansha have been doing to the empires these last few years. Its an arms race too. Imagine that the AV nerf was not the result of manufactuerers building worse weapons but better tanks? Tanks so good that AV weapons where a quater as effective?

One thing every EVE vet knows, is that these news items can allow a player to put themselves and their assets in a very lucrative position if they can figure out what's going to evolve from the backstory. In New Eden you need to be thinking months ahead of the news story, if you can.
