I had both earlier tonight.
The coolest thing I've ever seen in dust. Was playing ambush on that map with all the pipes and towers. Me and a friend got in a dropship, and flew up to the middle tower. But it turned out the enemy had thought of it first and was lighting us up with swarms. The pilot was like "Bail, bail, bail take them out I'm taking too much damage." So I jumped out, hit the inertia dampener, and landed. They had set up shop with their dropship, swarm missiles, and snipers. It was 6v1 and I knew I couldn't take them all out with my shotty. I only had one shot at this. I bashed R2 and laid down both my remote explosives. By this time every single one of them had just spotted me. 4 of them had swarms already launched at me so I jumped backwards to avoid the missiles, jumping off the tower. Activate the inertia dampener, hit L1.
Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Dinged like the closing bell of the stock exchange. Paid out 6 kills on the kill feed. By far my most james bond moment yet.
Later on they were on top of another tower with a tank that they had stole from my buddy. So they all start running and the tank rolls forward off the huge tower and I see blue streaks of inertia dampeners and a tank falling all pretty much perfectly in sync. Was amazing to see.
In the game that followed it was a pretty normal match, ambush again on the really mountainy map. That is until I met a guy near the resupply that is not near the buildings. Met him on a straight shot piece of land. We both froze, both scouts, both with rifles in our hands. We both drew our pistol at the same time and I got off the first shot. Nailed him in the head, got his shield down. He missed. So we start duking it out on this small little piece of land, we were strafing side to side but not moving forward or backward. Just staying there wild west style with our pistols trading blows and regaining shields. Eventually a well-placed head shot took him out and I claimed that resupply for my team.
Pretty awesome nobody interrupted, nobody threw grenades, and what's cooler than a future sci-fi wild west shoot out?

In one instance I was playing in my Advanced Heavy Suit (aurum, at that) with all aurum gear. Perhaps by the grace of all that is hell I was spawned dead in the center of the entire enemy team.
Standing in center of them they seemed entranced by my Aurum suit, shining as it were in the foggy/dusty landscape they all gathered around and began firing. I exhausted all of my forge gun ammunition and was soon left with just my submachine gun, racking in seven or so kills.
At this point I had no ammunition to save my life and nothing but AV grenades - which were useless against the horde of infantry that was slowly amassing on all sides. Set in a T-shaped alley between two buildings near a supply depot (that they controlled) I didn't have much option.
Every time I tried to hack the supply depot they began firing at me, but it seemed as though they'd only fire warning shots. Enough to chew through my shields and let my armor repairer kick on. Eventually they herded me out into the road where (I swear) they gathered around me in a circle.
It was to this extent that I was left, defenseless as it were, at the mercy of my enemies which completely surrounded me. What I can only assume was the leader stepped up and swung his knife at me. I took this as a challenge (perhaps he knew that I was out of ammunition on all weapons) and swung my knife in return that I had accepted his proposal.
It was at this point the better part of their entire team had opened fire all at once and within a heart beat I found myself at the spawn selection screen. |

Running a heavy over in LAV yesterday, killed him but he got stuck to my bonnet. My LAV slowed down to running speed and blue sparks were flying all over as his dropsuit was ground against the floor. I was pushing him for a good 30 seconds before his blackened corpse slipped off. nothing spectacular but it looked pretty cool and gave me a giggle. |

coolest thing ive seen are the nubs who call in ships/tanks/LAV's directly out of spawn and all you see in killfeed is bout 5+ blues getting crushed.
favorite battle was about 2 builds ago, just had unlocked advanced tier assault suit and was able to just put down heavy after heavy with the mods i put in it. (back then heavy's HMG was insta death) i got in a gunfight with a buddy of mine, it took 8 clips(4AR's and 4SMG's) at point blank -15ft away to put him down. was the most intense 10min fight ive ever been in.
and the whole time im fighting him you can hear him raging over the comms LOLZ |

my most recent funny moment was when i called in a sagaris and was waiting on arrival when i was spotted by a heavy and his little assault buddy... i was in a scout suit with a maltia shotgun and i began the crazed dance that we tend to do while under fire. by some lucky chance i managed to hit the assault guy a coupe times and he ducked behind the heavy and they made their way in my direction. i was out of shields and had like 35 armor left suddenly my tank dropped in and crushed them both. now that's funny to see. |

Was on a Skirmish on the 3-objectives map. In the hills north of objective B. Me in my Scout suit and a Shotgun in a little firefight against an Assault with an Assault rifle. I was losing...that is until my opponent was crushed...by his own LAV...that he ordered seconds before I attacked...it was dropped exactly on his head...I got an Assist :D |

I was helping to defend our base camp in an Ambush match with a Charge sniper rifle. I see someone running towards us. He's not right next to me, but he's close enough to use his assault rifle. So I charged up my rifle, pulled up my scope and, as soon as the reticle turned red, released the shot. I realised afterwards that I had shot him in the crotch. One hit kill. |

I'm still trying to find my moment in this game. I have yet to experience the large mass combat that brought me such a rush in M.A.G. I know the day is coming soon though, I can feel it. With the inclusion of corporations next build I pray that this game releases large amounts of dopamine into my system like M.A.G often would. |

I think my best gun battle occured in a really laggy game I had on the 5 objectives map. I was running about all over the place, doing my usual scout/sniper/smg thing and I saw E being capped. I headed in that direction and as I got close, another sniper appeared in front of me. I instantly dropped and started charging the weapon, trying to steady the sway for the kill. He turns, sees me, LAG, next thing he's crouched and aiming at me, but it's too late. 1 shot later he's down and I'm continuing on to E, knowing he'll be respawning soon.
Arriving at E I quickly work on hacking it. Once it's at about 70% I see a blob on the radar. I know it's him coming to get me. Frantically I'm mentally willing my hack to finish before he returns and shoots me in the back and I barely finish the hack and move backwards before a hail of smg bullets slams into the console. What proceeded was an intense 1 on 1 shootout between the two of us in front of E, using the small walls in front of it as cover as we each took up positions at either end. We both fired short bursts then dived into cover, then popped out the other side before ducking back in, whittling each others shields and armour down. At some point he started throwing nades, so I started throwing them too. We both ran out and tried to escape our respective blasts, ran past each other, and swapped places. The firefight continued. I think at this point I was winning slightly, but my next few shots missed and then I needed to reload, so I ducked in and crouched. I knew he was going to start recharging soon, so I needed to end this firefight quickly.
I also saw then that another sniper was firing at somebody else in the distance behind this guy, currently oblivious to the fight we were having 20 feet away. If he turned and joined I knew I wouldn't survive. I had to end this now. I jumped out to the right and ran down towards this guy as he moved to the other side. Somehow he hadn't seen me leave my cover and I was suddenly flanking him. A burst of fire later and he was finally down, but now the other sniper had realised what was happening and was coming to get me too. I sprinted back into cover and fired wildly as I took a few more hits, then saw the sniper turn the other way and run. I think he was trying to get some distance on me so he could snipe. I switched to the sniper again and took aim, fired, LAG, another kill.
Throughout the entire thing I had terrible lag and barely even saw the final kill. To finish it off, E then turned blue. And this was just one of several such fights I had in the same game, each as tense and hard fought, including one where I encountered 2 assaults on an open plain and somehow managed to out-sprint and survive the both of them, healing back to full health. |

I don't have any completely epic moments to write down on paper but there was this moment a couple of days ago that still gives me some laughter.
My team had a spawn point set up on a Ambush map, with the rugged turrain. Anyways I see a revive marker in the distance, I keep a injector on my "assault" at all times, and so I go running to help a team mate since it's not that far. I had to run up a small hill to get to the soldier. As I ran up I hear a LAV but I don't see it. All of a sudden the kitten came flying from over the hill in my direction.
My face was like-> O_O as I attempted to duck...
I found myself alive, but shaken a bit. I whipped out the gun and started firing. Luckly soldiers came right behind the LAV, must be the reason why it was escaping, and helped destroy it. |

A couple of days ago, I was in an ambush map with the rocky spires and two supply depots.
My drop suit of choice for this map is a high-stamina-recovery-rate scout suit with enhanced damage mods and a submachine gun as a primary weapon.
Right as I spawned by the supply depot, my team was gunned down and torned to shreds. As a result I found myself completely alone up against a heavy Amarr, a Minmatar rep, and a Caldari assault. With just me and my assault submachine gun, I decided to just try to go down in a blaze of glory by facing them off. If I was going to die I should at least try to fight back, right? So I danced around them like I was in Studio 54 dancing to the Bee Gees 'staying alive'. The hi dps of my assault smg took out the logi merc, widdled down the armor of the heavy down to literal death, and finally there was a stand off between me and the remaining assault guy. I had to reload while he was shooting at me but even then I managed to shoot him down as he tried to escape from me. |

Not a gun battle or anything, but out of all the crazy **** I've seen, one thing sticks with me.
After FINALLY mastering these new dropship controls, I was playing a game of skirmish on Plateau. I'm flying my Myron around, generally being a boss, when I notice someone on the enemy team calling in their own Myron. I fly over towards them as the RDV takes off, and I position myself directly above the enemy dropship as he goes to get in. The instant he goes to lift off, I slam my ship on top of his, instantly causing him to explode as I casually fly away.

Okay I got a new one. Was playing around with the forge gun in an intense battle pretty much team vs. team. Blasting RJD2-Ghost writer. I see a guy chilling on a hill sniping not too far from me. I charge up a shot for him, aim straight at his legs. Suddenly 2 of his buddies come over the hill and I instinctively released R1. the song had just hit the best part around 1:36 and I got a triple kill. The bodies flew in every direction and boy they flew high. AT least 10 feet in the air. It got me so pumped. |

Ambush on one of the small maps. A couple of reds (7-8) was clumped near a building. I flanked them and took them all out by myself, one by one with my trusty shotgun...the last one (also a shotgun scout) was faster than me, though (or had less lag) and killed me...however, a minute later, they were back again, and I flanked them again, from the same direction and this time I didn't die...90% luck, though...methinks...still neat. |

Playing on Asian server. I'm in UK. Outside the room on Biomass (big grey complex) there's a few small boxes just large enough to crouch behind. Some dude and I crouched, switched sides and fired off over 6 clips of assault SMG. 3 feet from each other. Latency made our "naked gun" style battle really memorable.
Some guy came and killed the guy eventually, and I didn't even get an assist. Fun times :D |

Two builds ago in a skirmish on Biomass/Communications,I spot a guy about 50 meters away on some rocks by A(or which ever letter was closer to C).I creep over there,he sees me though,so we proceed to have about a four minute cat and mouse duel over and around the rocks.Another guy comes out of nowhere, and luckily I take him down.I finally get the first guy and it felt great, and I'm sure that he was pissed.

Ambush on one of the small maps, I spawned on a dropship flying around- it immediately got into a fight with another dropship. Almost as if it was scripted, one gunner got killed and I moved into his place, opening fire on the other dropship, which was getting dangerously close to ours. Eventually, we shot it down; when it spiraled out of control, it spun into our ship, taking us down with it (again as if it was scripted). Most of us jumped out, along with some people from the other dropship- the fight continued on the ground. Eventually, a tank from each team rolled up, everyone on the ground (but me) died. I managed to get into the turret of the friendly tank, which destroyed the enemy tank, then proceeded to harass the infantry without dying for the rest of the battle. |
