A Statis webifer is a powerful tool in eve and is very useful and I have little doubt its going to be brought into dust, but most people seam focused on one form of this vital tool I propose rather make it come it different forms so people can find different ways and combination of bring in a tackling fit to a squad dynamics.
Obviously a Statis webifer grenade would be helpful click, toss, slooow. Would be a standard tool in a AV squad load out or make for interesting fights. All this would do was slow object within its radius down for 4 to 6 seconds and then its effects our gone this would allow enough time for some major things to come about in a fast paced battle and is more than enough. I however think how much something is slowed down depends on its size the bigger it is the less its slowed down.
The next reasonable idea would be to make a drop similar to a nanohive but instead of respelling your ammo it puts out a sizable AoE slow effect on everything in its vicinity it would always be putting outs its affects for as long as its available and would have a lower tacnet signature. Unlike the grenade this one would cause thing to get slower and slower the longer their in its effects until its intend amount, this way tanks cant just drive into it and get the edge of the effect and back out by the time they notice they be bogged down for a little bit. Of course attentive driver would notice his vehicle getting slower and if he had infantry support they would alert him.
But those last two are pretty basic and simple what about away to actively get that desired slow effect on some one then and there and keep it on them. Now CCP admitted we were getting attachments so I assume they would be adding under barrel(properly balanced with cost) now what if we had an under barrel statis webifer barrel it would but out the effect in a cone in front of it and like the grenade the bigger it is the harder it is to slow it down. This would require someone switch to a different attachment so no shooting and slowing and it would require a player to keep it focused on the target. However in those situation when your squad tactics call for this and you can trust your flanks are safe this could be a useful tool for indirect squad support. |

Good or bad? Grenades and drops as a primary statis webifer and a webifer underbarrel along with a unique AA weapon that relies on loore of eve pretty unique things I think |

Webifier and confirmed to be coming since Fanfest. I would love to see grenade variants also, mass driver stasis variants, maybe even a stasis web pistol. |

I already knew there were some form of webifer coming I just donGÇÖt want it to be limited to one type like just grenades or drops i want a couple of choices to go with for different version of a tackle fit.

I think best version of a webber would be a point and trap that works on all infantry but aint powerfull enough to stop a tank this could effectivly allow us to trap a enemy for our team by webbing you should be rewarded with sp and isk like a assist if it is a under barrel module then all power should be going to the module so all enery using weapons should not be able to fire but should projectile there is no reason other than balence that it wouldnt be able to shoot,
Mines (proxy) and gernades should be large area effect stop infantry to a crawl including turning and considerable slow down vehicles almost trapping vehicles |

a single grenade or the under barrel wouldnGÇÖt slow a tank down enough for the driver to notice, thatGÇÖs why I added that bit about the bigger the less it slows. however the drop would be a tank trap and infantry trap.
the grenade is for more spur of the moment to stop a quick opponent the under barrel for active tackling |

I would like to see a trip wire varient that can be set as a trap in canyons and the sort as an av trap. Lay the divice on a mountain side or something and it stretches outward a decent distance for when the vehicle crosses it they get slowed considerably and u may pumble them without them exscaping
I like to think of it as a spider web catching a fly or in the case of a tank uve caught a scorpion |

Imagine someone specing into Assualt tackle or as a webifer specialist. players could fit the CPU/PG calibration intesne underbarrel and tackle like in eve(the idea of slowing a ship down so friends can shoot em) or a player can train up using the Webifer AoE or the Webifer Proximity along with grenades and they could specialize in controling the battlefield with slow effects, think an entire subclass within assault.
