Cloaking is the first thing that comes to mind it could be simple based off mass and speed the bigger they are the slower they have to move to not break their cloak, a generous cool down and inability to shoot or aim while cloak would be good.
Smoke/mirage grenades would be useful they could create a area of reflective smoke noticeable but kills signature within it and makes it hard to see inside.
mirrage skin rather than creating a cloak affect the player would become a small moving cloud of the mirrage grenade, and would be hard to notice not down right invisible like cloak but hard to distigish.
silincer, this isnt a far fetch concept please bring it in.
dampeners I assume will be getting these
If good sound effects are ever added(hint hint) a module could be added that dulls your characters noises which would be pretty useful.
I think all stealth modules should have high cpu/pg requirements. |

Would the ability to.silence your gun be useful? Would the trade off in damage vs stealth be balanced? Is there a reason specific. Stealth equipment would be bad? Gameplay>realism this case |

STB Vermaak Doe wrote:Silencers dont work on the majority of the weapons we have To expand on this, the plasma weapons can't really be silenced because they are visible.
Sniper rifles are rail guns which fire projectiles at supersonic speeds (the US Navy's rail gun fires projectiles at Mach 7), they also have a massive and loud electrical discharge.
On the other hand SMGs might be able to be suppressed as I think they fire bullets, but i'm not sure.
Another possibility for a silenced weapon would be a coil gun (Gauss Rifle) as they fire subsonic rounds without the electrical discharge. Actually, a Mass Driver is technically a coil gun. If it didn't fire explosives it could be considered silent. |

so an attachment that dulls the light and sound discharge and it does this though applied phlebotinum. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AppliedPhlebotinum
suffice to say would it be useful, yes. would it be extremely OP with trade offs, no. would it add a new element to the game, yes. can some form of eve technology silience/hide the noise and tacnet signature of firing, its a vedio game so yes. |

Well, avenger 245 said it. My solution was a remote hacking to just silence the target or a radius around yourself - with obvious friend and foe recognition. Build mods for it or to stop suit hacks - could be fun. |
