I'm actually going to listen to it again, im sure there's stuff I missed while juggling between my wife and kids and my bottle of Jack lol.
even the stuff that doesn't concern dust or the less interesting discussions is worth listening to because of David Reids' Morgan freeman effect on things lol. D.R can talk about grass cutting techniques and make it interesting. |

I don't know, I get annoyed with somethings. Especially after listening to the reaction podcast. There is some misinformation there as well.
Goons didn't exist during the first........3 or so years. At least not as an alliance. Goon swarm first appeared as a corp, famous for zerging with rifters. I've always disagreed with them, even though through being with different alliances, I've had to work with them at times. As far as I'm concerned, there was a time when they had a purpose, or were a useful tool. And that was during the Goons/BoB War. As having been a veteran of the first Great war, I of course had a special dislike for BOB, though back in the day I think there was a mutual respect. Always loved logging in, in deep space in BKG, checking system and scanning belts. Then bugging the PA FC's to rally and take back BKG for a couple days. Got to a point after a while Evol/MOo/Atuk would stop what they were doing and start logging people on every time I entered a system.
Anyway, back to the issues. Hate to say it, Unless they've been hiding under a Rock for the last couple years. They've known Dust was coming for god knows how long. I've been waitin for it for a couple years in fact. Or they were just too arrogant to acknowledge it, which going by past experience is the most likely case. But the reality is, they're acting like they'll be forced to go out and buy PS3s. But, really all they would need to do, is recruit 1 or 2 good Dust merc corps into their alliance. That's all any alliance would need to do.
