This happens if you step through the CCP logo, "start" and Character screens too fast.
Actually, it looks like it happens every time if I don't let the CCP logo finish its very long soundtrack.
Oddly enough I can speed through these without trouble when I reconnect. |

last night i had to quit the game because i had some issues going on, when i tried to reconnect (two times) after selecting my character i got "you've been disconnected, servers are currently unavailable." i gave up and went to sleep. i'm logged in now though |

Exactly that one.
Can anyone else confirm this observation, that having a Heavy Skinweave suit unallocated on your account will disconnect you right after character selection? |

no unallocated suits here but i get the disconnect sometimes three times in a row at the start
