Yea, how dare there be problems with hit detection in the beta.
Also, I'm quite sure you didn't die to a single bullet. Unless of your course your whining somehow mingled with the structure of your heavy dropsuit, that might have compromised it's support structure, as tears have a tendency to weaken the circuitry from the inside of the suit. |

There are definite issues with hit detection. Frustrating at times, but its a beta, all of these things will get fixed so dont sweat it. |

You know, I've walked up behind a guy, stuck a whole clip from my compact assault rifle (60 rounds, so somewhere north of 2000 damage) into the back of his head and then he's turned around and killed me.
And then a couple of seconds AFTER that, his went POP and I got the kill.
We're in beta, it's a known issue. HTFU. |

the tip of the day : don't go near an enemy with anti-heavy ammo if you are wearing a heavy suit, that way they'll need 10 bullets instead of 1 to kill you. |

Yeah. I've seen the delayed death of a target moments after said target killed me. I've also had issues where I know 80%+ of the 300 round mag of my hvy MG hit my target squarely and seemed to barely scratch the shields. Just bugs that will show up in the performance data they're collecting and will hopefully be fixed before Dust goes live. |

im kinda sick of hearing the "its a beta" excuse.
1. if there is an issue with something and its been repeated on the forum over and over. and there has been little effort to fix the issue, therein defeating the purpose of testing it.. the propose of a beta, is to iron out the issues before it is released. quick updates and rapid deployment is required for this.
2. hit detection is a result of seemingly a few factors, one being that it is on the singularity test server. this server has similar issues with eve and being that the node is rather small garners a host of issues.
CCP this test server is breaking the impression for people that do not know about eve. PLEASE for the love of god. get us off singularity ASAP. |

I remember there was absolutely no hit detection in the old Replication build. Scouts were practically immune. Today, I can shoot them down with no problem. |
