- after 10 kills per match. (Max - less than 1000 wp per match)
- after 10 vehicle or structure damages per match.
- after 5 structure destruction per match.
- after 5 vehicle kills per match.
- after 10 hacks.
- after 10 vehicle kill assists.
- after 15 resupplies.
- after 15 team spawns.
- after 15 repairs.
- unlimited kill/hack assists.
Cut the value of the actions in half after hitting the match limit, then half again after doubling the limit. This would make it so that the sp "cap" for each type of action is essentially twice the minimum. (fewer than 1000 war points per action type per match, with the exception of hacking main objectives -- which would allow for up to twice this much)
Additional automatic adjusted returns:
- Killed within 5 seconds of spawn. 1/2 current value.
- Kill assist for enemy killed within 5 seconds of spawn. 1/5th normal value.
If someone was sniping it'd cut their participation base score on a 30/0 game from 1500 to 875. While another player who received 15 kills w/ 2 vehicle kills would get closer to 925 (instead of around 1050). This kind of change should make it more difficult to farm on a more extreme scale as it would require more diversification. Additionally it provides better incentives for providing support.
Oh, and that same sniper, if they went 47/0 instead on a match where they had 5 kills before spawn camping the enemy for the remaining 42 kills he'd only receive ~800 points depending on if he had to chase after anyone for more than 5 seconds before killing them. |

And the problem is with this "boosting" stuff. So just put a sensible cap on repairing vehicles/friendlies and you're set. It really doesn't need to be so complicated. |

Right, anyway, the caps are to avoid abuse. A sniper or anyone else who gets a great many kills should not be capped such that their kills stop counting after a while. Killing people and knowing that the game has arbitrarily decided your contributions no longer count toward your score doesn't sound like it'd be a positive experience. |

There's already a skill cap for kills. If I remember correctly it's 7500 WP for 150 kills in a skirmish (which end the match with a victory) and I want to say 4000 WP for 80 kills in an ambush (which ends the match with a victory). While I applaud anyone who can singlehandedly pull those riddiculous numbers wtihout cheating or in some way gaming the system, the idea of diminishing retunrs for repetitive actions wouldn't impact them as much as sp/wp farmers.
For the proposed changes it would allow for diminished returns:
10 kills x50 wp per kill = 500 wp 10 kills x25 wp per kill = 250 wp = 750 wp total 10 kills x12 wp per kill = 120 wp = 870 wp total 10 kills x6 wp per kill = 60 wp = 930 wp total 10 kills x3 wp per kill = 30 wp = 960 wp total
& would follow similarly for things like repairs: 15 repairs x 25 wp per rep = 375 wp 15 repairs x 12 wp per rep = 180 wp = 555 p total 15 repairs x 6 wp per rep = 90 wp 15 repairs x 3 wp per rep = 45 wp |

The whole cap idea is idiotic...and this even more...there has to be an incentive to win the match instead of maximizing the individual WPs, i.e. a substantial SP bonus for the wining team (bigger than what you would reliably get from killing, repairing, hacking, etc). Also reduce the WP reward for individual actions. |
