Hey, Does anyone know if the skills for the Sidearm xxxx or Light xxxx pertain to the weapon itself or to the dropsuit slot and whatever is in that slot? |

If you mean the one that increases range (sharpshooter)- it's for the sidearm/light slot in general. |

What I want to do is get the max sharpshooter, then run around with a breach scrambler pistol (AKA sidearm sniper rifle without a scope) |

It pertains to the weapon class. For example, the Scram pistol is a sidearm, if I'm correct SMGs are listed as sidearms. Assault rifle, Shotgun, mass driver, Swarm launcher, sniper rifles are light. And for some reason, the Forge gun is the only heavy so far. |

Thanks for the reply guys, to get is straight then I can upgrade the Sidearm skills and even though I use my SMG in the Light weapon slot the Sidearm weapon skills will upgrade the SMG. I hope that's right. It would be easier if in the description of the weapons it would say Heavy, Light or Sidearm. |

It does, it's in the fitting tab on the weapon. You're right Brum, realized I forgot that one after posting. |
