Apparently my Merc's aim is so terrible I can't hit the ground with a nanohive in some cases. Can we add a short bus variant LAV for moving him around the field? |

Maybe it's a prototype nanohive that has more HP so that it can take that sort of abuse...? |

i just love it when my forge fire's and slam's into the target and the target doesent even move an inch and just fly's (drive's) like a fly hit it . . . :p prety funy considering i emptyd a full clip and 1 only hits oO |

I'll give you the same advice I give other people when I see them trying to shoot a nanohive- shoot at the hive, not around it. |

That's not a scout problem, persay, it's a shotgun problem. This happens even with heavies just sitting there, and it's a problem that's been around since at least the second build.
We're getting new hit detection in the next build, very much looking forward to all the improvements and bug reports. |

I've shot snipers (I'm mainly a counter-sniper.) 5 times with the charge rifle and hae it not do any damage, even when they are standing still. I'll see it hit their shield and no damage. :l |

yes... hit detection... lag... i blame lag mostly but hit detection is an issue. i say lag mainly cause people will be standing still and not taking damage. i would expect hit detection to work on someone standing still... |

What I don't get is emptying a clip into someone, they take no damage and turn around and shoot you a few times and you die. WTF!!! Even worse, they are using the same type of weapon, I make it a point to check what they kill me with. WTF, again!!! |

Then he killed me, and I saw he was using a militia rifle, so he obviously wasn't using an expensive fitting. |

We have crossed a build threshold between the start of this thread and now. Hit detection seems much improved.
But there are ways to boost the damage you can do with any weapon, even the starter weapons.
Some players will invest sp in skills like weaponry level 5, and fit items to their dropsuit that can also increase damage.
Weapon type does not tell the whole story. |

Trust me, I know. However, I have Weaponry at Lvl 5 and AR Operation at Lvl 3. I also use Light Weapon Damage mods. Even with my Breach AR against a Militia AR same thing happens. Regardless, even without any mods or skill boosts, 60 rounds at 30 HP damage per round = 1,800 HP in damage. No drop suit has that amount of HP. |
