Sorry if this is a known thing.
I'm still having trouble hacking. You'll be part way through the hack cycle then they'll be a slight 'jump' in the progress for lack of a better word and when the cycle is finished hack is not completed. So you start again. All the time advertising to the opposing team where you are.
Now if this a skill that controls hack success and I don't know about it then forgive my ignorance. But if its a bug then it needs squashing quickly because its now my biggest single annoyance in the game and a real rage inducer. If I'm pressing circle to hack then I expect that hack to work. |

From what you said about the "jump" it sounds like someone else aiding you in the hack. As for the not getting the hack was it an installation(Supply depot, railgun installation, etc..) or the [Insert name of whatever points A,B,C,D,E,etc.. is] |

Correct me if i'm wrong OP.
What he means by 'jump' is not the increase in speed by a teammate joining the hack. The 'jump' he's describing is more like a 'hiccup' in the hack progress. A glitch of sorts. The circle meter will disappear for a split second and then come back in the blink of an eye and continue the progress but when it fills completely the hack doesn't actually go through. You can either continue holding circle and the full meter will just stay up on the screen never completing the hack or you can let go and have to start the hack over completely from zero progress.
It's been mentioned on the forums before. I actually think i may have either created a topic about it or commented on someone else's before.
Additionally, it's happened to me on everything from supply depots to letter objectives to vehicles. |

Yeah i starting having this problem after the HAV hotfix, everytime you try to hack something (not everytime but most of the time for me anyway) it glitches half way through the hack process and you have to restart, i've died countless times trying to hack a simple supply depot or null cannons and it's very annoying. |

i have had the issue where the hacking circle will disappear a few times during the hack. the hack still works, just continue to hold O
i've also had it to where the hack was completed, the circle was filled all the way, and the hack did not complete. i had to continue to hold O to finish the hack
i've also used the Sony Stereo Headset 7.1 Virtual Surround, this headset causes many many issues. when hacking it will constantly reset the hack, you will never finish it alone. but this headset also resets sprinting (it stops your sprint), resets your Aim Down Sights (it flickers in and out), it would also cause me to be unable to walk around as it would constantly make me stutter walk.
if you use those headsets please post here: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27747 |
