im guessing these are turrets that auto target. if so can we get a ALT fire mode so we can choose if the turrets act alone, or target the same thing as the main gun. thank you |

Probably not a correct guess. Autocannons are an actual thing already in the EVE setting, and are fairly rapid-firing weapons that shoot projectiles. In Dust, they will probably be similar. So not as fast as blasters, but with each shot being more damaging.

Think highpowered minigun then probally have two mounted on a duel mount and u get an autocannon |

Think something like a Bushmaster gun bigger than a .50 Caliber in todays world. A huge caliber, rapid firing cannon that isn't exactly spitting rounds . Instead of a "BRRRUUPPP". Think "Tap tap tap Tap.. Like a 20mm auto cannon I think the caliber is on some Stryker variants.
No developers needed. Exactly what the above poster said - Autocannons were a type of gun in EvE that Minimtar ships used. I can't remember what the difference was between them. I remember they were rapid firing...
I was Amarr so I focused on lasers... Minimitar ships were too ugly for me! Harbinger FOREVER! 8 laser banks! AH!!!

If you wanna know what auto cannons are, think smaller version of the main gun on the a10 thunderbolt/warthog. At least thats what they are in EVE.
The other way to look at it, would be say, the m2 browning, is more or less a .50cal, think of a turret with two of those. That would likely be the LAV, suit usable version. More like a 20-30mm version for larger variants. |
