Anyone want to contend that things are going along according to plan with the Dust development, beta test and deployment schedule?
Anyone still want to believe that a full week of poor to no communication from CCP about what is happening represents business as usual, or as they intend it?
Is Sony messing with roll out dates or is CCP lost when it comes to making the next build ready?
Don't like speculation or guesses, CCP? Tell us what is happening... |

How many major updates, releases, patches, etc. people have seen to be done on monday?
Now I'm not just talking about DUST. But in general.
But anyhow, yes communication of what when should be done more frequent bases.

oh, btw....
those weekly updates that we were crying about and CCP has done few.
4 September, first tuesday this month
11 September, second tuesday this moth
19 September, thisrd wendsday this moth
so those were pretty regular, wouldnt you say? |

We've had 6 months of "poor to no communication" and every time there's a new build due, the scrubs come out crying the same old thing ... We will get an official announcement shortly before the release of the new build, whether that's this month, next month or next year ! It was suggested they planned to have it rolled out by end of September, but hey plans change ... other things come up ... and you're in no position to complain since you've not been guaranteed anything.
If you don't like waiting ... go buy a finished game till this ones done. |

I am one of the CCP fanboys. Am I whining because we don't have a new build on 24sep? No
Am I whining because CCP hasn't come to my house to fill me in on what's happening about the office? No
I am posting to make clear that others see what seems to be happening. Yes, this beta has been fought with poor communication. But they were getting better: weekly updates, irc, blogs. Posting. That mostly stopped just over a week ago
You can suggest that this is just pre-build release business that is keeping the comms damped down, and you may be right. But Witt he mixed signals from Sony,TGS, and other sources, I worry that it could be more.

No one believes that everything is fine. There are those people that are worried about server stability, game mechanics, and gun game. Then there are those who are worried about more skins, more weapons, and making everything looks beautiful.
See, no one thinks the game is perfect. Some people are just more naive about what makes a good game then others. |

It's fairly safe to say that those involved in PR (that's Public Relations) have been heavily involved with this Tokyo event and they would be the same people involved in Public Relations on these forums. It's no surprise that their ability to feed information into the forums would be affected by a big demonstration going on, they'd be out of the office and a little out of touch with what the DEVs are up to. |

Public relations are one thing. Corporate relations quite another... What if Dust was supposed to be up and running for the 25th? I mean, a $30 pack of AUR is more than I've bought. I've never heard of a console which comes with a beta. Bad idea. I'd be furious if I bought a ps3, played Dust an then had to pull the power out of the back. Angry e-mails for CCP & Sony...

CCP is done with the new build, they have probably been done for weeks. But SONY QA now has it, like every game with SONY it takes a while until they can say what will be in the build.
CCP gives QA a long list of everything in the build, then QA goes down that list as fast as they can to make sure it wont cause issues. 24 hours prior to the build be put out, QA sends CCP a list of whats been accepted, then and ONLY then will we get the approved build/patch notes with all of the QA accepted changes. Until that time CCP can't provide any patch notes. |

Until someone can come up with something better than 'CCP haven't said anything since they went to the TGS which only finished yesterday', preferably some form of statement from the devs.
