I'd be a happy man,
Love the game but I'm done testing it. That said, I'd be a happy man if we could keep progression once open beta drops. |

I would find it a little odd if the announcement of the release date was not published in the Beta Forums before being released to the Media. |

They hardly ever post on the forum the irc is where they like to be, as for next month release I think they will regret it the games not half ready in my opinion.

IGN doesn't know anything. this article is just speculation because of the IGN beta to basically give 'reviewers' a feel for the game.

Dust is not being released in October. But it depends on what people class as a release.
The new beta build is being released end of this month but there is no full 'launch' until end of this year. |

Dust will -NOT- be released in October because that doesn't go along with Eve Online's winter release schedule -_-;

There will -NOT- ever be any release of DUST at all.
Only gradually more and more playable builds being deployed with more people getting access. |

Exactly right - but the actual release is more than likely going to be in November/December as that is usually when the Eve Online winter expansion(s) come out.
This speculation on "October" spawns from a potential reveal on the PSN for open beta - NOT release. |

i think this is when it will be up on the PS store for anybody to download not its actual release date. actual release is probably closer to the new year or end of december if we are that lucky

It's not just ign, sony's CEO made the mistake of saying on television that dust would e released next month. Now I'm not saying he's right or even that I think it should happen but that's hat ign is citing there not making up the statement I guess is the point |
