WeGÇÖve recently mad some changes to the Aurum currency valuation in order to offer more pricing variations and in some cases, lowering the cost of AUR items. This means the denomination of the AURUM currency has increased by 10 for all AURUM related items and products.

By increasing the amount of AURUM purchased per unit of real-world currency by a factor of ten, we wish to test our pricing system during the closed beta with the goal of offering better deals to our players so expect to see new AURUM packages offered on the PSN store soon.

For those who have already purchased AURUM packages you will see your AURUM wallet amount increased by 10 and all previously spent AURUM will be reimbursed when we reset the servers.

The AURUM currency denomination change is expected to go into effect after downtime on Monday, September 24th. We look forward to hearing your feedback and comments. Thank you.

They aren't refilling your wallet, they're just causing inflation. Besides, changing the value of AUR will be as easy as modifying a couple lines of code. This isn't really a large undertaking. This is not news of a new build.

I doubt it will be the new build, or the reset, personally.

It might not be a new build but it is very likely for a complete reset in my opinion.
Also, that was the only sticky that was closed for no obvious reason.

They wont reset without another build, or at least making dramatic changes to the current build. We were told the next reset would be the last, there is no reason for them to do it unless they are launching a new build and starting open beta.

The way it reads to me is that on the 24th we will find 10X AUR in our wallets for each AUR we have not yet spent.

Then LATER, when they reset the server, we will be reimbursed for any AUR we had spent before the 24th.

There is nothing in the post that implies these events will occur on the same day.

And I'm betting they won't - they'll want to run the old build for another week and track our new spending habits.

Tracking the spending habits of people who speculate the game will be reset in a few days is worthless information.

What are you talking about? They don't have to track your spending habits. When they say they'll "refund your wallet" they don't mean "We'll figure out what you spent, and put it back" they mean "We're going to reset all wallets to 100%".

Same here, which puts CCP in a tough spot. If the new PS3 is launching with beta access, and CCP doesn't push a better build through, we are going to see a very large number of "hit it and quit it" players.

They track our spending habits, what we buy, heck even our isk purchases. They have a very developed system that does it in eve and would easily translate to here and provide useful beta information.

Why would dismiss your own idea though? You were the one who mentioned it.
