So, a while back they nerfed the hell out of the Heavy Machine Gun because there was no mass system in play to reduce turn speed - it was supposed to be a temporary fix as everyone and their mother was using it.
My question is, when is it going to be brought back to it's original attributes now that the mass system is in..? Seriously, I'm using a Prototype Heavy Machine Gun and unloading entire magazines into -assault suits-. Two major issues are present with this:
A.) 300 rounds and not a single one lands at <20m. This is abyssmal. If I can't even land rounds on the enemy to even give suppressive fire for my team to advance on them - why the hell should the enemy be afraid of it? For something that -gains- accuracy when you're firing it - it sure doesn't work out in your favor.
B.) The damage is terrible. Assuming you do land a hit you'd better hope to god you land more than one. With bonuses the prototype heavy machine gun does less damage per round than an assault rifle - which is fitting, on the assumption that it's incredible rate of fire was worth a damn in combination to it's hit detection.

Not really. It's not feedback, it's an inquiry and discussion. Were it feedback, I would have stated my opinions and not asked for anyone's validation on them. |
