One of the reasons I like Dust is its built in anti-idiot feature.
I run a logi fitting that costs about 45,000 ISK a suit. So that means I have to be very intelligent about how I play. 4 deaths means I probably am losing money. However, I am decent at the game so it usually isn't a problem. However, people who run expensive fits and die all the time because they are Edited, will go broke quickly.
Being broke --> militia fits ---> quit
The only problem is that camping Edited will still be around, but at least the people who are constantly dead will be gone. |

I whole-heartedly disagree. A smaller, dedicated player-base is much more interesting to play against.
If you hate playing good people, then I can see where you are coming from. However, I don't see the appeal in beating up on people who are worse than you. I like my wins to be earned, not handed to me on a noob platter. |

Yea, I guess militia fits aren't as bad as I was implying, once the proper skills are upgraded of course. Still, a militia fit doesn't compare very well to an advanced fit and if a player has lost all their money dying in advanced fits, the militia fit won't do them a lot of good.
I am also enjoying the fact that !diot is being edited out by the admins. LOL |

Smaller player base = niche game = low population= server turned off because ccp arn't going to pay for somethning thats not being used. You can get away with this on pc because of the subs but the console market is very fickle Love the way people describe players as noobs because they are better or think they are. Enjoy your empty game world if thats what you thing of your fellow players 
I guess we are arguing over semantics here.
Niche game doesn't mean MAG-style population necessarily. EVE is a pretty niche game and it has a lot of active players. CCP should strive to imitate the player-base of EVE. |
