OK 4 is Not gonna Cut it in a squad we need 6 or 8 OR even 4 but if squad gets full a new squad opens up call squad 2 @ 4 more people can join that squad but squad 1 is still in controll of match making & kicking people. up to u guys |

Interestingly in this game squads are elements of a team, which is the opposite of how the US military does it.
Also the game will likely feature a "leadership" skill similar to that of EVE which will allow a person to form larger squads if they've invested in becoming a squad leader. This leads me to further hope that we'll see tiered leadership. Teams composed of platoons and platoons composed of squads. |

Rather than bigger squads how about the fleet system from eve allowing battle groups with the squad, wing and fleet system so a general could organize the entire battle group as may happen when this does go live on TQ. This would allow a general to sinc the battle initialization for all the squads under their command rather than the current method of 1-2-3 join.
Current vehicle limitations make an ideal size of squad at 3 in my opinion as LAVs and Tanks only have room for this number of pilots and riders and the Drop Ships ideally have a pilot and 2 gunners with passengers being an afterthought to be dropped off at various locations and are unable to stay with a squad and effectively operate in conjunction with the squad as there would only be 1 passenger to be dropped off with the current squad size. |

I'm in full favor of 8-man squads. Its the size of a standard console FPS team, so easy to manage, and the number is familiar, and makes squads more independent. |

Squads should be based on how large team sizes (or maybe the battle-zone) are, IMO 4 squads per team is about right, at least for the 16-32 range. |

Not sure what you are trying to say, but I'm guessing you want larger squads. Yesterday I was in a squad of 6 people, which seems proper to me.
For taking a supply depot, it takes at least 4 people if decently defended, but to hold it is doable by 4, depending on the landscape. From that observation, squads of 4 are valid, but squads larger than 6 would be overkill (I've never seen NULL cannons properly defended when I'm going there to cap it - but when holding one, 4-6 people would usually do)
Ultimately, it doesn't matter for most players, since no-one actually issue squad-commands: - I've seen ca 3 squad-commands issued over the last few weeks - I've issued several commands, when being the squad-lead, but only getting sporadic response -- seeing a squad rally and take a location was pretty nifty :)
Getting a Leadership skill into the game, to allow squad-sizes above 4 would make sense. It would also allow the game to choose people with Leadership skill for squad-lead (ie those interested), and letting the rest be goons. |

K. If you have squad of 6 and you havea corporation of 200. The squads would be too small. Squads of 10 or minimum 8 would be logical. If you are too defend a planet you need alot of people and alot of communication to do so. CCP lets do it soon cause this game is getting boring. |

I'd rather have 4 squads of 6 to have more coverage and more people with possible orbital strikes. |

With the 4 person squads it seems hard to get the squad to stick together. Most matches my whole squad is all over the place |
