These are just a couple ideas i got while thinking about an EVE ship boarding thread. To limit the number of ship models needed, let's say only freighters and industrial ships could be boarded. The eve ship performing the boarding could be either a specialized but relatively defenseless ship or have a module that takes up ridiculous cpu/pg while also requiring the clones to be stored in the cargo bay at about one to five meters squared per clone seems fair enough but no more than 20 per clone.
Any thoughts for improvement? |

I would say that they could just put a passenger limit to every ship in eve; unless they make a class of ship dedicated solely to infantry transportation which would be cool.

Interesting concept, and would definitely create some interesting mechanics. I like the concept of the module that enables it, however i am pretty sure (correct me if I am wrong, i'm not a freighter), but freighters cannot fit modules. At the same time a play on the freight containers instead might be pretty cool.
Also like the ship choice because these two classes (with the exception of a few ships) can be relatively defenseless outside of high sec space, so will most likely lead to even more interesting interaction between eve and dust, in terms of eve corp/alliance support in order to move you're stuff around. |

I meant that only freighters and industrial ships could be boarded as they would be carrying high value stuff |

Idk how i exactly feel about this. I agree with I.F. it'd be interesting for sure but how well that'd play out with a pilot in eve having to worry about that from the inside. While i know some people would be on this. and would love it, some logistics pilots are already worried enough flying around in space in those ships because of other ships that are more balanced in risk / reward.
Losing a freighter to some infantry that together wouldn't come close to the cost would be a great rage quit video but not good overall. |

It's essential to protect those ships so in the event it's lost, the corp didn't fufil it's obligation to protect it's assets.
Also a limit so it can only happen in low, null and to war deced or bountied targets |
