Actually those who brought the merc pack didn't buy it to test they brought it to play the game early.

Take a break man, a new build is coming, like I said I get frustrated too. I have screamed foul words at this game. But its just the way of the beta, you must find your inner peace with it.

its not a tantrum but its getting harder and harder for me to even get a match this build has gotten so unstable that i cant wait till the next build its got to the point where i im fixing my dropsuits and get kicked out of the server. it also doesnt help that man ive been getting put in the most ******** teams ever its like they have no clue how to play they just stand around licking each others asses....

im just getting tired of not being able to play at all because i keep getting server full and when i do find a match i get invalid dropsuits which has been happening so much more

Thats not what it came with. It clearly states beta access.

My suggestion: stop playing or stop complaining. Saying you don't like something (i.e. complaining) without offering a solution does not improve the game, as you say you are trying to do. If you stay, be constructive with your input; otherwise you aren't adding to the value of the game. And if you hate your teammates so much, start forming your own squads. This is yours to control, not the developers.

Yes. Next time say that's what you are doing instead of defending a lie that you are "trying to improve the game" unless you really are. Thanks.

I don't care who you are or what you think you are entitled to here buddy, but I did buy the Merc pack and I did that to get a invite to the beta test. Not play the game early I did it to participate in the testing all my friends who paid for the Merc pack did it to participate in the testing, to help make a better finished product not see a game early. Now I'm sorry if you got directed here by mistake but the section you want is in the Psn store under ps3 demos

so i got sent a questionaire from cccp which i filled out and provided feedback to them as to how my experience was going this is the full monty of my thoughts on the game that was provided at the end of the questionaire.




"i would like to preface this critique with the following: I am honored to play this beta. this is the first beta i have ever attempted to play and succeded in getting access.

i understand this is a demo. i understand it is not the polished product. so take my critique of it

here are my problems with the game after about 6 hours of play i feel like im playing something from ps1.

guns
as a noobie im going 1/2k to 15k because everyone has better weapons. this is unbalanced. even in mw/bo someone at level 50/60/70 didnt have better weapons with you just more attachments or perks. i can compete with higher level people. this imbalance is not going to sit well with brand new people as time goes by. this game will be played by the ground floor players. it will not be newbie friendly.

and personally its pissing me off. its just not worth it to grind.

urky jerky controls even set at 100
slow game play. zzzzzz wake me when something happens. i dont care if there are going to be 32 players the battle fields are so large i might as well take on the tumbleweeds that roll by. glad i got a default suped up jeep to drive.
spawning takes too long.
the sounds are lame. the assault sounds like a needle shooter
the kills, i thought they sounded like old windows 95 kernel32 crash.

totally underwhelming and basically a grind for anyone not playing from the begining.

i had high hopes for your idea of a cross platform game. i understand your doing something never done before so i can expect crude i also know you may not have a billion dollar budget like inferior ward. but unreal tournament is better than this.if the key is for future betas ill stick around and play but something drastic is going to change other wise my limited time wont be worth it. "

Come on CCP your dropping ball!! things have been getting constantly worse. i just hope for your sake you fix most of the problems by the next build. the only good thing about this is that its going to be free other than this game is really falling behind... i've been patient with all the problems but now its just getting out of hand. Get your head the game CCP if not this game isnt going to make it and i have i high hopes for you.

keep an open mind this is a beta. and like you said this isn't inferior ward. this isn't the game, and it wont be. this is a massive project, the launch version wont even be the finished project. as long as we convince CCP that this is a project worth pursuing then it will be updated for the foreseeable future and probably into the next few console generations. the graphics, gameplay, sound, and balance issues will be worked out in time. perhaps not in the beta or even in the first year or two after release but it will get better. just look at EVE they have a good track record with this kind of thing.

then let the GM lock this thread no one needs u to be a moderator till then i welcome ranters on this thread i enjoy the anger from other people

Well, so far i'm guessing we have an extremely small percentage of the planned final game to play with, with us testing some very basic combat roles only.

Imagine it like EvE with players only testing starter frigates from 2 races against each other (though early on in the last build some sadistic bustard threw in a few T2 cruisers i.e. tanks for a joke ).

Think about manufacturing, trading, proper quarters, hundreds of options from 4 races for equipment and so on.

I refuse to believe the current game types currently are the 'final' matches, maybe the hack objectives one is getting there. They have simply been quickly cobbled together for us to run around and test stuff on.

Its a BETA, that is all.

Edit: But yeah, the current gameplay is terribad as a result. Constantly spawning next to enemies. Aimless running around and blasting at anything. It feels more like playing chess with a Meth addict at present

Yes yes i QQ so wat im just glad to hear everyone saying these things the communities coming down on one guy plz keep it coming cause it makes me happy the everyone is finally working together now we just need to wait for the better build
