Here is my guess: 25Sep is scheduled to be the Open Beta move to TQ, but for lots of little reasons CCP is not sure they can get it out in a clean and stable fashion next Tuesday But it's close, so instead of delaying the roll out they are crunching hard and trying to figure just what they can squeeze into the next build and what they can't That is why we haven't heard crap from them this week; they are trying to get a firm fix on release update notes and what will and won't make it into the build To be honest, this is my best case scenario guess. :( What is yours?

The move will happen shortly after deployment, but not on the same day. They need to do sanity checks and make sure nothing will break first. It'll go something like this Deployment > Wait > Wipe & Merge DB's > Move to TQ

Ive seen nothing. The only thing that corresponds with the 25th is that new slim playstation with the Dust bundle. In a recent email from CCP (Today):- "At this year's Tokyo Game Show, Sony unveiled a sleek new PlayStation-«3, which includes DUST 514Gäó beta access and $30 worth of bonus items." So a new bundle is annonced with some free dust goodies and everyone assume thats the release date...but its not the free goodies include beta access. Ok it doesnt state if its open or closed. IMO we will know a while in advance of the open beta start. So my guess is keep an eye on the stickies for an anouncement relating to the next Beta phase which may or may not be SOONtm.

I was just wondering how stuff like "gameplay is like this, lag is like this, graphics are like this" are allowed? Doesn't the NDA prohibit these kinds of statements because it's still "closed beta"? Is this not along the same lines as the Youtube vids?

Dzark, I completely agree The idea of a 25sep open beta or new build date is complete conjecture on my part. So is this thread. As well as the many guessing game threads I have posted over the past few days Why? Because it is all we have to go on. So here we are.
