-When my team needs transport i drive allways the LAV otherwise some "disaibled gamer" will try to attack a 6 man group with the LAV instead of going stright past them to the unguarded objective.
-when my team needs some 1 with a nanite injector i will do this task otherwise the triage guys throw a nano hive at the guy who is dead on the ground.
-when i see a enemy tank incoming i go to a supply depot and swap to AV cause my team is to busy sitting with snipers on a rock.
-when i can hack a objective i allways throw a remote explosives on it cause i know that my team is not capable to defend a objective longer then 20 secs.
-when we are trying to attack a objective i set drop uplinks cause my team doesnt even has the slightest clue what these are for. They probs think its a plate where you can put a pizza on.
- when im playing skirmish and the match allready started and my team is loosing (they allways are, allways.....) i get my dropship, type screw you all in the team chat and start to repair the MCC for some SP.
In my opinion 90% of the people who are playing this game have no clue what they are doing. Thats why i prefer to play most of the time with a squad with decent players.
Great post Dark. I've bolded the bit I think is most important. It's the main reason the player base in general annoys me. They only complain about what kills them instead of actually testing it themselves then commenting. It's always, "OMFG, [insert OP weapon here] is totally overpowered. WHY U NO NERF, CPP?!!"....
People need to stop trying to lone wolf and work more as a team, specialising and supporting each other. Dark is right, too many people have the mentality that they should just roflstomp a bunch of guys solo. It's the way all the CoD and BF crowds think as it's the only thing they know.
The idea of the "mercenary mode" sounds awfully like you want to go into a public lobby full of easy kills?, similar to 90% of the CoD player base.
Frankly if that gets added I want nothing to do with it. I got bored of CoD:MW after 2 weeks and maxing everything, haven't played any of them online since as it's the same boring game with new paint. I do not want Dust to be that game or to even pander to their needs.
I want tough targets to fight, OP dropsuits and vehicles. Something that really challenges me and my team to over come. As it stands CCP seem obsessed with balancing everything for the solo guy.
I'm beginning to wonder why there's even MMO mechanics in this game tbh, they seem to undo every skill boost you get as we get more into development. At this rate we're going to have kill streaks and perks in by launch. |
