Ive tried many times, too use the nanite injector only to have the person despawn right when i arrive too them..
Happens more times then i actually revive somebody..
My suggestion is create a nanite injection gun for reviving at a range.
aim at persons corpse, pull trigger, launch the nanite injector into them.. they revive
Thoughts? |

Tis a good idea but it would probably seem less vital if the injector was a bit easier to use ive got the hang of it now but took along time

I like the animation of going up to someone, the slight pause, the vulnerability of the situation, i wouldn't want to loss that easily with a simple gun.
I feel if the detection system works better, it may help this problem.
A) Accompany the on screen message with an Audio one that says a medic is close by B) Display to the downed player both visually on his screen "marker" above the logi's head so he can see that the logi is right in front of him and also on the radar, display the logi differently so he can see how close the logi is and if he is moving in his direction or not... C) Do not give the option to bleed out until after 5 seconds

I don't agree there shouldn't be a way to revive players from range, it would be way to easy to abuse.
I would like a module that auto revives the person who equiped it and I would like a revival drone but not a way to revive player anywhere on the field besides the risk reward of running out and reviving somebody is good and well balanced.
I would however like bigger hitboxes for reviving players qnd for their hitbox to line up with thiee model |

I think it is a good idea. Make it a light weapon. So if you go that route, you forgo killing. And if you aim wrong, you might revive enemies :) Low ammo, and needs a **** loads of nanites to regenerate ammo from nanohives.
I also like the auto revive module. But it would need to work only once. And there should be a way to kill someone so they can't revive (like shooting them for 200 hp while they are down). |
