It would be very helpful for the members of your squads' name tag to be permanently visible.
When i'm trying to direct my guys and all i can see is a green arrow in three different locations, i have no idea who is who and if they are where they should be. If i call for a nanohive and my logi says "yea i've got one over here", i've then got to figure out which green arrow he is and where "here" actually is. As leader it is my job to know where each of my guys is at all times, but when someone strays i need to be able to call him by name and redirect him. Of course it is always the goal to stay nearby each other but there are many, many unique situations where you have to separate and it'd be nice to keep tabs on my guys. |

As a Squad you would preferably stay near each other. Why do you even form a squad, if you don't cover each other? |

I'm confused, did you even bother to read the reasoning or just the title before throwing in your two cents?? Have you ever played with an actual squad of killed players?
Key word here is preferably. Sometimes you find yourself in less preferable situations.
We form squads for a tactical advantage. When the game places you in random locations, you need to know where each person is. When you lose an objective and your guys are forced to spawn at a different location, you need to know who and where they are. Especially with a proper squad having players that specialize in different things, you need to know where the particular guy is when you need him. If you choose to split up for some reason, it's important to know where everyone is.
If you don't have a practical reason to dismiss the idea, don't waste everyone's time. |
