I booted the game up tonight, and I noticed my character had a little over 2.7 million SP (total accumulation), whereas last night I only had about ~1.4 million or so total SP accumulated.
I thought that looked odd, so I logged into my character and brought up my skills. Well, somehow I now have 1,210,000 unallocated SP .
I'm not complaining that's for sure, but I left the game last night with ~50,000 unallocated SP. So was this some kind of boost everybody got too? Did I manage to be on the good end of a SP bug? Or did somebody at CCP pump my account full of SP?
Still not quite sure how this game works, so maybe this is normal? I usually don't accumulate so much SP over a single day of inactivity (not even close). Either way I am definitely going to be researching some upgrades, that's for sure! |

How was I supposed to know that sticky talked about giving everybody SP who logged in during that event? i didn't participate in that cooperation warfare thing (or at least I didn't know, even if I did), so why would I click the sticky?

You should be more up to date with the events instead of just posting a new topic everytime it suits you. |

I don't get emails about them, but usually the stickies at the top = something noteworthy to be reading before posting a new thread, especially if it hasn't been read before. Now you know. |

Sorry , I don't spend every waking moment of my life following every thread and every little thing that happens with this game/forum. Go ahead and spend your time doing such thing, but I certainly won't. If there isn't a clear and obvious thread, I will make a new one. Don't like it, too bad, ignore the thread and move on.

No emails here either, in-game or on my actual email. And I might be more inclined to read the stickies if the date format wasn't so screwed up. Month/day/year is how it ought to be, whatever they are using now is some ridiculous bass ackward date format, must be a EU/UK date format. Have to use some form of advanced calculus to figure out these dates.
@ Chris Gaechmoor - I use Thunderbird, so emails show up on my desktop the instant I receive any. "Checking" emails is so year 2000, get with the times and use some form of desktop email software for SMTP/IMAP/POP3. Pretty sure every windows computer comes with Outlook pre-installed (if you are into using sub-par software, like IE). And it's not rocket science setting it up either.
You go ahead and "check' your email, I'll have mine delivered right to my desktop with a nice pretty notification icon and prompt window. |

Now you're just reinforcing the stereotype.
Day/Month/Year is hardly complex, after all.
Personally, I'm a fan of year month day, as it's least to most significant, and numerically sortable, but I realise that's unusual.
DMY is, at least, most to least significant order.
