Most weapons work as intended right now except of mass drivers. Most grenades just vanish when they hit the ground or a wall. They really need better shooting mechanics. They also need more damage and ammo. I dont mean OHK and 200 shells but a splash damage of 150-200 and 40 shells should be okay. Please set this onto your list. |

I had this happened to my today and it was so frustrating. I was point blank behind a guy and shot 3 at him and it went right throug him, it also happened when it hit the ground and not explode. |

Yeah been having a hell of a time with that myself. I'd say 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 shots actually explodes after hitting the ground. The rest just vanish into oblivion after hitting. Been having that with my Flux grenades half the time too. Plus if you pay attention when reloading, the drums have placement for 8 rounds, yet you only get 4.
But, they need to take a serious look at the Mass Drivers. They aren't working right. And for a more or less equivalent to a real world m32 grenade launcher they do very little damage.
Only thing I could add to them, would have a primary and secondary damage radius. Primary radius would be full dmg, then secondary would be blast dmg. |

MD internal blast getting an increase in radius, but damage will stay the same...effect: direct damage over a slightly larger area!

also bumpity bump for thread keeping discussion over dud shells alive.... I know the devs are looking into it... but it is my favoritee weapon...
clip ammo increase would be nice... 5/6? stored ammo?...not sure if 5 clip then 15 clip stored if 6 clip keep it at 12 |

Oh yeah. Something else that I think would be nice with them.....We're 20k years in the future with advanced dropsuits that link to our weapons...... Yet simple things like Mass drivers, don't have an arc indicator to show approximately where they would hit. |

the mass driver has gone on being useless long enough. how are we supposed to test the game properly if we have been talking about how broken this gun is for like what 2 months now? and its still broken |

Used one today out of curiosity what a strange weapon, it's all flash ,bang with very little to show for it needless to say I switched back to my shotgun and did a hell of a lot better. |

I think the ammo is ok, but the hit detection/dud round problems make it utterly broken at the moment. Also, some kind of ground indicator would be nice, especially if it's a very limited ammo weapon (which it should be considering the aoe damage/area denial it can put out - if it worked) |

its honestly a bit underpowered . i like the theoretical blast radius and damage . but its theoretical because all my shells still go AWOL . i am going to try out the mini gun some more though and see if that needs tweaks the little bit i used it it seem the accuracy bonus for lengthy firing was use less because it would over heat before it was any good . also extra bump :) |

Picked up a mass driver today for the first time since the last wipe -- killed myself with it instead of the target. Apparently the grenades go off when you hit an objective at close range, but not when they hit the ground at long range.
Think we could fix that?
Also, can we get a list of weapons & how often they kill their user instead of the enemy -- I think we might need to tweak some things. |

Maybe the grenade has to be in air for some time before she gets armed. |

Have also seen it explode at/on someone's feet, without their shield going down by any significant amount.
So: Better hit-detection (seems to be good at exploding on steep hill sides) Slightly better damage (depending on type) Slightly altered splash/AoE range
And yes - seeing 5-6 reds holding an enclosed point on a map, and then pommeling it with a mass-driver is kinda fun, until they realize where you are and start chasing you.

hand grenades are fused.... no real impacts..... getting hit with a grenade directly but with no detonations wouldnt exactly hurt us |
