Is there any way to use the skillbooks after you purchase them? I've tried to purchase the Mobility skillbook, but the skill doesn't show up and my money is gone.  Greatly appreciate any help from you guys. |

Go to the skills menu, hit R2, go down to mobility, hit x and select "Use Skillbook". Then it'll show up lvl 0 on your main skills screen. Some skills ask you if you want to use them when you purchase them, some don't. I'm sure they're gonna work that out. |

You also have to train other skills to certain levels before you can open new ones. A red "x" next to the skill means you have not met requirements. Open info (triangle) and hit R2 until you get to the "prerequisites" page. That's what you need to use that skill book. |

why do we even need the 'use skill book' why i cant it just be a automaticly in the moment we get it? this would make sense in eve having to use it. since buying a book, that book might be on the other side of the galaxy but we dust bunies are far more advanced than are space fairing brothers we have enternet pdf format skill books that can be "used" anywhere.
i support removing the use mechanic complete and just have the book automaticly get used when we buy it. |

So you can buy expensive skill books when you are a rich and famous CEO and sell to your poor new corp mates who just started for a dollar...same reason you are allowed to purchase more than one militia item when YOU don't need more than one put can sell to corp mates for a dollar to help them out... |

Yes as per recommendation, using the skill books that are coded into the game (ie purchasing them in game as compared to the market place) will give you less frustration and will cause less of an issue. Say you have a slow internet connection and something hiccups while buying a skill book in the market place and you send the data to your PS3 and closed beta game, and it loses it and its an expensive skill book, Well there goes like at times lots of ISK and your hard earned money specially how everyone buys AUR guns and Cavity grenades :V |
