Decreased Earning Of Points For Using Aim Assist, its a helper and there fore if you use it you should earn less points. Cause seriously, it takes no skill to fire something when you have your gun snap to a target. I know its all part of FPS elements and what not, but the game should reward you for not using helpers and handicaps. :V |

i disagree, many players who are new to DUST 514 would have a very hard time to get anywhere in the game if the other hardcore players has this system and gets more SP while the new players that probably will use aim assist will get much less than them. |

don't think of it as a handicap, i don't like aim assist because it often snaps to the wrong target. so in my case using the "handicap" would negatively affect my gameplay. in which case aim assist off would be a "handicap" because it boosts my efficiency on the battlefield. it's a matter of personal taste not boosted performance. |

Still don't buy it. I'm with OP. If it does help new players, sure no prob. But at some point, you should strive to improve your ability to aim etc. I think a nerf on SP for auto-aim kills (not huge, but like 10sp) is fair. Eh, who knows... |

The game doesn't have auto aim, it has auto track in which it only moves with an enemy when it gets within a certain distance and you still need to aim to hit them. In other games auto aim will aim for you, in this game it doesn't. |

I just am trying to think about how any assistance should be worth the same as doing it all yourself. Sorry to be dense. |

I really don't care if people use it or not, and I don't see why they should be punished for it. Even if I did care and had a problem with people using it, I would still be against your idea. Aim assist only helps with getting kills, so it should only decrease SP from kills, and not anything else. |

That is certainly all I was talking about. I would not see the need for an overall depletion of SP. So I trust we agree (sorta - heh)
EDIT: plus, I am waiting on another post that is asking what it actually does to make any kind of final opinion on the matter. |
