How about a very high cliff or deep canyon/chasm with structures on the sides. The chasm would be extremely nifty...you could walk full circle on one level, snipe across to the other side and fight enemies above and below you...you could even place some landing pads in there, that extend some way to the middle of the chasm where you can call your dropship to wreak havoc...other vehicles would not be useful, though... |

Well, I think that could be possible as someone on the forum said it will be over 7000 maps with different terrains? |

It might be 7000 maps, but not with unique terrain. They take one heightmap, then use different textures, lighting, slot-layout, etc to make multiple maps from a single terrain. Everything else would not be feasible (regarding work and storage space it would take). |

We have what 7 hieght maps so far just for temperate, 7 or planeta types not to mention different structures there's atleast 20 pi structures, 8 planet types, and so far 7 height maps for each planet. 200 different maps? CCP never does thing in halfs(just loik at their extreme nerf policy) |

There will only be temperate planets (at least at launch), different heightmaps for all districts on one planet, but recycled on others (with different textures and/or structures or even different slot layout). |
