Hey guys!
I have a suggest. Considering how many of the vehicles in this game can potentially cost $100,000s, I really think there should be some way of returning a vehicle to the ship when you're done with it. I mean, what if I just want to hop in my plane and use it to quickly get across the map before ditching it, should I have to eat the cost for it even though I didn't get hit?
I'm thinking that they could put a "recall vehicle" option somewhere in the vehicle menu that would cause the dropship-thingy to come flying down and take your vehicle back to the ship, charging you only the cost of repairing the damage to the vehicle.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions for how this should work? |

A simple recall option with a targeting mechanism like the command menu in the request menu. And to use it you need RDV vouchers with a price that can be balanced. |

Great idea... It gets annoying having to worry about just leaving it there and someone going joyriding / wrecking shop with it.
What about an AI mode where it can be self-efficient... To balance that out a EMP gernade could be used to disable it and allow hacking. |

While I think this is a cool idea, if it were a free service it would probably be abused. Last build, when anyone could call in a dropship for free, people were using them for personal transport instead of helping the team. But I've been in situations (enemy has been redlined, etc.) where a vehicle is genuinely of no more use. The vouchers sound great. The price would need to be pretty hefty to keep people from using dropships as one man taxis. |

Remember though, it would take time for an RDV to get to the dropship, and the dropship itself would be very vulnerable to being shot and blown up while it's on the ground (remembering that it doesn't get any bonuses from the pilot as you would have to get out and stay out to have it picked up). Even better, you kill the pilot, start hacking it and it's a free dropship for you (the RDV pickup would be cancelled the moment you start hacking).
Not to mention it would be a big "I'm over here!" beacon to anyone paying attention. |

Even though I wouldn't call it voucher but make it something like an "RDV Evac Beacon". |
