I deffinntly think we need a system to support more players for shure but i always thought of it as closer to eves fleet system keeping squads at 4 men but having a hierarchy system that shall extend into multiple squads working in much the same way as eves fleet system

But why? Every vehicle fits a rough multiple of 3 (LAV, HAV; DS = 7). So if you have a DS (dropship) you can carry 1 less of a full two squads. The other end it is 1 less than a full squad. So some one gets the shaft and has to walk or jump in the vehicle some smurf is driving and take their chances. With equipment pricing now, I would rather not take those chances unless the match is completely populated by my corp mates.

I say move back to 6. It creates a player ability to balance the space with the number of troops on the field and their transportation.

This shift to 4 with no real explanation (i.e., CCP, WHY DID YOU GOE TO A $ PERSON SQUAD????) kind of left me feeling like my nuts were swinging in an open, wet, and cold wind. NOT fun, but what the hell are you going to do??

OR, Would you allow us to adjust the squad adjust the size from 4 to 6 people, determined by taste and the total number of players allowed in the match?

ANYTHING except for the deeded 3 musketeers PLUS 1. It just doesn't roll off the tongue well, YOU KNOW!!!

4-man Squads are more of a Fire Team than a Squad. Traditionally a squad is 12 to 16 in total numbers and includes 3 or more Fire Teams and one Squad Leader. 4 Squads = a Platoon. Not in military based games for some reason

I would actually prefer a larger Squad that is comprised of 2 or more Fire Teams, but Ultimately designated by the needs of the Corporation or Alliance. What I mean by this is if you have 16 men ready to fight for your Corproration you can divide them up how you see fit: 2 squads of 8, 2 squads of 6 and 1 of 4, 4 squads of 4, or any combo in between as long as it adds up to 16. You can then have 2 man Sniper/Recon Fire squads, 3 Man Vehicle squads, 4 or 8 man Assault squads, or whatever you need to get the job done.

I would also support just plane 4-man squads it the Comms were easier to use. The current set up is a pain due to switching channels mid battle or over crowded comms on Team or Private channels. Get rid of Push to Talk and make that a Comms Cycle button.

I like the idea. I just think that there are a couple of issues that need to be solved first:
 1) When the squad leader joins the game and only part of the squad gets into the battle too.
 2) Some people in the squad having their head set stop working once then get into the match.
 3) Improved designation of squad members and squad leaders on the minimap/HUD
 4) Teaching random people how to use the squad leader commands!

I think the biggest current reason behind 4 man squads is that we have 16 man teams. With 6 man squads we would need to go 12v12 or 18v18

I myself think that we need a new system that allows for the formation of a full team

As for the ptt it needs to stay for when corps get to the planed 100vs100 battles otherwise all ull be hearing is static
