Alright, how about instead of everyone saying yay or nay, lets look into how it would pan out in game
Low armor, high speed, high maneuverability. I could see this primarily being used to get to the best strategic objective at the start of the match as fast as possible, no big deal, the enemy will have them too.
One problem is i could see these being used a lot like LAV's with no gunner, road kill machines. As these would likely be able to turn sharper than a LAV i can easily see these just driving around running over mercs offering no team benefit. Killing these guys with an anti-vehicle build would be easy peasy... if you can hit them. I could see these bikes moving so fast that by the time the swarmers have launched they're already behind cover.
On to the rule of cool (or potentially awesome moments go here)
Hitting a hill just right and catching sweet air only to land in a crowd of unsuspecting opponents and just mowing them down.

I could see these bikes getting cloaking abilities, fast undetected transport to an unprotected objective the sniper up in the hills just called in. **** yeah, teamwork.
EDIT: Wow, thought it was clear we were talking about motorcycles, wasn't expecting this much sarcasm. |

Will I need to upgrade my Mechanics skill to fit a basket and a bell to the bike? will the training wheels reduce speed and maneauverability? could I use a remote repair system when the chain comes off? these questions need answering before I'll support this idea |

I love the idea.
But instead of getting killed when hit by a motorcycle, instead give them damage. Getting killed by one hit would be a cheapie. |

They specifically mentioned one-person hoverbikes a while back. Them and fighters and APCs, if I'm not mistaken. But who knows what their current plans are. |
