Ohk. How are gonna move around in dust?? Do we just magically appear on a planet we pick and invade it or? I really wanna know how this will work. For Corps, are we gonna be able to have a ship, where the CEO can assign pilots and the pilots drive the ship to a planet or location on a planet where the CEO put a waypoint on. Then we invade or just visit our planet to Check resourse etc. I also Hope that on the Corp. ship we can move around with our avis. This can also affect the eve intergration in a good way.

You'll probably just clone jump to whatever station you need, I can't imagine us having to actually hop around like in EVE. |

Actually, that'll likely be exactly the case for Faction Warfare and null-sec, as that's the whole point of the War Barge. That ship flies through the same space that all of us in EVE use, and will most likely even be able to use stargates, though it wouldn't surprise me if they equip them with Jump Drives as well. |

It seemed early on there was talk that the MCC was a transport for us. I don't remember what class people were saying it was. Destroyer or cruiser I suppose. |

I just can't imagine us having to actually fly out to the system / planet we want to get to. So many people would be painfully turned off from the game the second the pilot decided to go afk, or the second they lost all their assets because the warbarge got ganked and they had no way of preventing it.
We'll just have to wait and see I guess. |

If they want to try and keep the game technically correct (yes i understand the irony of saying that in a space game with space suits shooting eachother) then clone jumping to new planets will leave you entire cargo/asset on the previous planet.

We'll just have to wait and see I guess. You're forgetting that high-sec will function exactly like you said, with the people contracting us providing surface spawn points. In FW, you'll be working together with EVE players of that faction who'll gain bonuses based on that faction owning the system, so they're doubly invested in you getting there in one piece. |

Well if the pilot decides to go afk, he can just switch on auto pilot. As Long as their is a waypoint, the ship can get their by using fastest method/safest method. And while ship is afk, a shield can appear to protect it till the pilot comes back. And if for some reason ship gets ganked, the CEO could be blamed for not picking experienced pilot. The Corp could even assign EVE pilots to protect them. |

I'm guessing that guy doesn't play EVE, because autopiloting is a one-way ticket to death. You warp in 15k off every gate and then slowboat toward it, making you an instant target to suicide-smartbombers in high-sec, or to just about anyone in low-sec and below. As for contracting EVE players for escort, that's the idea, but I'd imagine the War Barge would have too many hitpoints to get instagibbed in high-sec where CONCORD will respond. Yes, during Burn Jita we killed quite a few freighters through artillery-fitted Tornadoes, but that's hardly efficient enough to do on a constant basis. |
