What are you all talking about? is there any news about female armour? new pics or something???

The only thing I've seen is that they've apparently seeded female test suits onto the test server, aside from that, nothing. Oh, and CCP said somewhere in the IRC that female suits were looking good.

Hit detection on ANY dropsuit should all be the same, regardless of individual stats. And just no to female dropsuits, I am so tired of female 'armor' that consists of something that might cover parts of the boobs, and a g-string piece of lower armor. It's been ridiculous for ages now. I doubt they'd go quite that far though. Also, the facile argument of "If I am going to be staring at a butt for hours on end, I'd rather it be a womans!" is getting old as well.

im a woman and honestly i like the way the armor is for women in the game only thing i dont like is my death sounds sound like a man lol also yes im a woman in real life as for men being stronger then women in physical strangth some times but not always same for pain tolerance i for one am a masocist so i like pain alot and i also have built up a high tolernce for it so im sure i could take more then you but i dont know that for sure.

The community has been asking about female player models for quite some time, and I personally see no issue with it. We've already made the point very clear that none of use want "boob armor", so we'll be unlikely to see anything gaudy or ridiculous.

Seems to be some kind of unspoken rule amongst game developers... never have female characters that can be shot and killed in an online game.

I have seen female characters in SP games as opponents that can be shot and killed (VERY rare however) but never in a online game. Not sure exactly what the deal is, it's probably to cover themselves from lawsuits from women's lib extremists.

You do realize female models HAVEN'T BEEN IMPLEMENTED YET! All characters are male. Female models will be released in the next patch.

They aren't even in the game yet....I'm pretty sure they're coming with this new build.

They're already in the build. That, or my character needs to tell me something kind of important...


The catch is that you have the "large grey sweatshirt" problem, meaning that, with the exception of the scout, you're going to look almost exactly the same as a male character.
