Why was the AV damage for Swarm Launchers reduced by 30% and then only 20% given back?? We were told it was a TEMP NURF for corp battles. Where is the balance? most HAV, and a few LAV's, can survive a full swarm flight. the new max damage is only 1200 for a full flight of 4 warheads. The description of the Swarm launcher states that it is a anti-material weapon for troops, but it not effective due to low power and low lock range. Why was lock range set at 400m for line of site targeting. You have orbital bombardment - this is targeting from low orbit. as an example the current javelin AT system has a range of up to 2500m and can lock on from that range.
Forge gun - why is there no starter forge gun for the milita heavy suit. The physics behind this weapon should make it the best powere and ranged weapon used by ground-pounders on the battlefield. Its a kinetic kill weapon with a round speed of 4.3 miles per second. it should do massive damage to anything it hits, be it organic or armoured.
what are the effective ranges of all weapons??? how far can I throw a grenade?? how close is melee range?? These are details we, as users of the weapons, should be told at the point of purchase for each system before we get anywhere need a combat zone.
why is the nova knife set at 135hp for all suits, all suits are not created equal. a heavy suit has more power behind its exo-frame than any other suit. scout suits are faster, logi suits have basic lifting capacity. Set melee power on the assault suit as the standard 135hp, drop the damage from a logi suit to 70% of standard, drop scout suits to 70% but increase the speed of attack by 15-20%. Increase the melee atack of a heavy suit by 30% but drop speed by 10-15%
HMG should have the power of assault rifles but be faster. the speed is ok but the rounds are under powered for the type of weapon it is supose to be - a squad support weapon. HMG sould be a worry to all armour suits, all LAV's and Dropships and the low powered HAV's.
pistols are overpowered. shotguns are underpowered. Switch the damage of both so that the pistol does the lower damage.
All weapons should have a tier zero variant for militia use. |
