I recently played a full on medic and i noticed the rewards are not great for healing people you can get more points if you wait for them to die and revive them. My idea is maybe you get 5 points a second for healing or 50 points for a complete heal because 15 points is pretty low |

I think it would be better if the +15s were divide up over smaller incremental heals. Like get 1 point per second of healing, instead of getting 15 every once in awhile. |

Yeah. Right now, if I'm just bored and topping off everyone's armor, it helps, but it also prevents me from getting points for waiting until they're almost dead. |

^This! SO MUCH OF THIS! Medic's unite! We play a vital but overlooked role on the field of battle. We hang back and tend to the wounded and get NO respect from our fellow players because our score and k/d ratio is poor due to the rigged system. When all you do is heal the wounded, repair the vehicles, and supply the ammo no one thinks about how vital it is that you were there. Without us at the objective you'd have to respawn into enemy infested objectives instead of living long enough to fend them off.
I say we need a new stat. A healed/death ratio! For every person you bring back you get one healed point, every time you die you get a death point, for every certain number of health points you heal it counts as a healed point. Also, repairs should give you a set amount of points per second as well.
We don't often get to go out and shoot at the enemy because we are busy taking one for the team by hanging back and doing the dirty work, we should be rewarded for it, because we are getting left behind!!!!! |

As I non-medic, I support this. Why? Easy, the more SP they are able to get, the more liable they are to top me off when we get a breather, instead of leaving me at partial armor. Also, the more SP they get, the more SP they can spend on heal Mister Hunt skills. Mostly because Mister Hunt is teriBad. |

I was hoping for something similar like this too - but with all the people that were exploiting repairs I dont see it happening anytime soon. |

I could always be limited to droupsuits rather than vehicles. Dust already has separate repair stats for each of those so it would be simple enough (it seems) to implement it separately.
Also I agree with this thread, there needs to be something that makes use of the repper on droupsuits more valuable as compared with other battlefield activities.
EDIT: At bear minimum there should be a stat recorded and displayed for ISK repaired. Even if it doesn't grant us anything directly it would allow other players in Corps (once it goes live) to see how much a repper is contributing and promote player interactions and deals (after all the best medics will likely go where they're best rewarded )

How about a longer ratio that is all inclusive? I mean it might take a while for FPS players to get used to it, but it would allow support players to have their contributions to the fight known better. How's a 6 part sound? Is that to hefty of a stat if you color code the numbers? Like this:
K/R/H/ISKR/ISKL/D (Kill/Revived/Healed/ISK Recovered/Isk Lost/Death)
I'm sure no one will want a long stat like that, but wouldn't it make everyone feel more included in the after battle reports? And I'm sure people would get used to it over time. Just color code the numbers and have a brief tutorial window explain the meaning of each section of it. Please don't hate to hard on the idea..... |
