I am one of the few PS3 owners with a wired controller. However, I have issues with the walking and looking around.
It is immediately noticeable when entering the MQ. Basically when I push the controller in any direction the character will immediately move then stop, like a stutter. As soon as the control stick moves the player moves again and stops. This is same with the camera controls.
This only happens with Dust 514.
This happens both in the MQ and in a match. I will edit this post and add a private youtube video once it uploads from my phone. |

That is more than likely a violation of the NDA. I recommend taking down the video as soon as possible.
Aside from the violation, I have the same stuttering issue with an Xbox controller and the XCM converter. This could be a third party issue OR it could be a wired controller issue. Either way , I hope they fix it. |

Its an unlisted video, not public, and has only been posted here. Within this community. How else can I explain the problem adequately? |

I can confirm this happens, I am using a GameStop wired controller. The behaviour seems to be that the movement signal is only sent once per thumb-stick deviation from rest (zero) point. In order to move forward you need to push the stick forward, return to zero, push forward and so on, which results in choppy "movement". I suspect it has something to do with the timing of the commands the controller sends. It also affects buttons, so e.g. in order to fire an AR, you need to "burst" tap the button. |
