I was in my Scout suit on an ambush map and tried to kill someone. I was just near enough to hit him, but my shotgun wasn't completely on target, so I didn't kill him. But apparently he had just ordered a LAV, because just as he fled from me, the RDV dropped it...right on top of him...got a Kill Assist

First time flying a dropship, Was mashing buttons trying to figure out what Go Up was... managed too find it, took off from the ground.. and Wammy, i get hit in the side by a Ground Vehicle supply airplane.. w/e they're called lol...
Anyhoo i had no idea what the controles were so i spun in a sideways barrel role smack into a sharp pointy rock..

1. Awhile back i was in a match that as soon as it started a bunch of people all called in LAVs in the same spot. I was waiting for mine and saw it coming, stepped out of the way so as not to get crushed and immediately someone else's dropped right on my head. I often find myself in the wrong place at the wrong time in Dust. 
2.Just the other day i spawned into a match and a guy called in a dropship. I ran over and hopped in. He lifts off and the front end comes up, and up....and up. I bailed and watched him complete the maneuver which ended with the dropship on it's back on top of a very low building.It was all one continuous, fluid motion with no attempt to correct it. He managed to turtle a dropship in roughly 5 seconds from the time he spawned it. He got out and just stared at it awhile like he was trying to figure out what to do next. Gave me a laugh. |

Killing Contrabanjoe (PRO clan) at the beginning of a match. The whole rest of the round he spent in a dropship. It's a MAG player thing, I just find it funny that the same kitten happens from one game to the next.

lol, you probably killed him.... while he was on his way to spawn his dropship. He just enjoys flying them so that's what he does.
While i did laugh at this, for the health of the thread, there's no need to throw around names in this thread to turn it into a flame war. I actually like reading about all the wacky game dynamics and the 1-in-a-million scenarios, so thanks OP for creating it I hope it stays on track before the tankers/anti-tankers get in here to argue.

Came running around a corner in a type1 a55ault suit equipped with a miltia shotgun and not much else and came face to face with Sha kharn, Paddy Lyons and another 2 notable players, thought 'Kitten! I gonna die!' and actually by some divine intervention managed to kill them all!
I lolled so hard, the wife thought I lost the plot!

I once bailed out of my dropship as it was coming down and landed right on top of another dropships roof. The pilot quickly came over the headset "Hey...who's that on my roof" in a kind of "Oh you" tone, I rode around on the roof for a bit and laughs were had by all while i surfed the skies. |
