I have noticed that sometimes I do not earn any points for repping someones armor from nothing to full. Then other times i can just repair the smallest amount of armor and get points for it... Is that a bug why that happens? Is there a mechanic i dont know about? Just find it strange i can repair 3 people in a row and recieve no points. Then turn around and get points for healing the next 3 guys. |

It's not a bug, but the way it rewards you for repairing armor. I'm pretty sure it's around 75-100 points of armor that you have to repair before you get the 15 War Points.
So let's say you're repairing a scout with the standard 90ish armor, you will only receive points if you repair practically his whole health bar. An assault class would need more than half his armor repaired to get points for it, and a heavy will almost always give you points, and most of the time more than once.
Heavies have about 500-600 health so they can give you around 5x15 or 75 war points for getting them to full health while other classes won't give you much at all, or even none. This is because even if you heal 50 points of damage you won't meet the requirements to get points.
What they need to fix is giving an amount of points equal to the amount of health you repair. For instance let's go at a 75 armor to 15 points ratio. This means that every 5 armor you repair gives you 1 point. If we went by a scale of 5, every 25 health would give you 5 points. This would reward us medics better even if we repair a little or a lot. |

That completely sucks. The required amount of hp healed should be lowered for the same +15, like around 40-50. The few times I have been healed by a logi, it has saved my ass from assured death.
I'd love to see more of said ass-saving going on, but I can see why there's very little of it atm. |

It'd be nice if the points were scaled to their total armor HP. And it should be ~1/2 of their HP to get the 15 points. |

I have always thought it was weird the points were doled out in chunks, instead of flowing. Maybe 1 point for every 10hp healed. it sucks healing someone and not getting any points out of it just because they weren't injured enough. |

It takes around 15-20 seconds to heal a heavy versus the 3-5 seconds to heal anyone else. Factoring this in would make it even harder to get rewarded for healing than it is now.

I think the biggest reason people don't use the repair tool is that they don't know about it or they can't find a way to fit it in, or they think you get more points by laying down a nanohive.
It would be nice if the repair tool came with the starter logistics suit instead of the nanoinjector, but the militia version costs a ton of pg |

No, then there would be no love for the Heavies which take 4x as long to repair for the same reward. |

I agree that this is a better idea. But i would change it to every 50 for 15 pnts. Or heck, make it an upgradeable skill to get more points for less... but that my be breaking the game as well. I could see people just skilling into it for SP and not for the team or gameplay. |

So something like every 15 health would be 5 points. That way you can heal a little of someone's health and still get points for it.

I remember reading something about this. The Dev i read said that the constant repair WP would put quite a high load on the server and bandwidth as every +WP seems to be a package of it's own or something like that. |
