That fighters (when they are implemented) could be used to crush people. When I say crush, I really mean hit at high speeds and get an insta-kill, but still, I could see that happening. The old Dust trailer from 2011 showed fighter gameplay, and it looks as if they have the kind of precision to fly a foot from the ground to hit people without crashing.

Some games intend this. In warhammer 40k, table top game not video game, one factions fighters fit blades to wings to showoff flying skills by decapitating.
Grazing ground should insta-pop the fighter, so it will be harder then shooting, not easy kill for noobs ignoring the weapons. keep damage from hitting ground like current dropships, dropships are getting fixed next build, keep the fighters weak vs the ground (and light posts), they have no reason to land like dropships do. Then if some fighter buzz's someone to death it took skill, or cost them millions of isk(assuming they will cost more then dropships) to suicide into you and ground. |

Just a thought. With so many of us wanting to try out fighters, and CCP Is hoping this is to be the last SP/ISK wipe. Is there going to be anyone on the ground to take objectives? |

Fighters were said to not be in at launch, so we will be testing them on test server for expansion while taking objectives in the live game. The test server may have nobody on ground though. |
