Thanks for the link, but it's sad that we had to learn through the PlayStation Blog, but we have the etablished forums here. Makes perfect sense to me. Sense the sarcasm CCP?! Anyway I saw no date listed in that entire blog. So when they arrive is a guess. I'm going to assume those features will be there post update when the new build arrives this month. Atleast that is my guess. If they just gave me my crusader dropsuit I'd be a happy camper. I mean it's cool we get those named features.
I hope this doesn't create a tangent but it is basic marketing. I wont go into it.
Anyways, thank you for posting this link.
A tangent? You mean immediate physical contact? Ha. Also this is not about marketing. If this is CCP's variation on marketing it's **** poor. Especially given how small the actual community is for the PlayStation Blog, and the even smaller still of those whom are playing, or fans of
Dust514, and visit/frequent the blog itself. So yeah. I mean it's great that someone cared enough to spot this on their blog and had access to the forums here, but it only proves that again CCP lacks basic communicative skills. Informing those who are here testing the game should have been a bigger priority then posting a blog that only a small, small minority will ever see. Hm. Yup. Makes sense. Totally.
It's funny to think how much information is gathered from the testers themselves then anyone from CCP actually. It really is a sad state of affairs. I mean we assume they pay people to be and do PR (Public Relations) and speak on behalf for CCP, but it seems the information is rather instead leaked, and put together by people not being paid.. That is sad. I've seen better communication skills from, Hellen Keller. Oh I went there.
Que the excuses though.. I mean defense of CCP is a must, no? People defend the IRC usage, and one liners from essentially a twitter feed, but actual communication? Nope. Sorry I've just had it with the poor and essentially non existant communication from CCP.
Not trying to be the jerk, but given everything a bit of proper communication is necessary. Especially when it concerns a game, and people testing the game. Herp-a-derp! I can only imagine what the world would be like if any given military acted like this, and refused to communicate information to it's soldiers on the battlefield. I bet that would go over so well. Gross example? Maybe, but it still fits, and works.
I know I have said it before, but I thank the people kind enough and willing enough to constantly report these findings to the "majority" of us that are here. Because, otherwise we'd be three moot and blind mice playing marco polo. So again thanks for the link, and thank you to everyone who is willing to go out find the information. CCP treats it like an easter egg hunt afterall. Some here, a little there and one in left field.
