Since yesterday night (~0:00 GMT) I am getting constantly disconnected from the server. When I start the game and then try to join an Instant Battle, I will get disconnected (every single time), when I reconnect it works for a couple of matches. Then I get disconnected again and when it tries to reconnect it disconnects again. This repeats itself until the game hangs itself up. |

This is getting ridiculous. Last time I could play 2 matches before I got disconnected again. I spend more time rebooting the beta than playing it. And I don't really get disconnected. The game just pretends. When I don't click the error message away, the game match loads, I can watch what happens, but as soon as I press X, I get booted back to the startup sequence. Most of the time, the game continues to run and the progress bars and EULA etc are superimposed on top of it.
And now it seems like it doesn't work at all...after the first disconnect I have the behavior like after I played some matches. |

Update: This seems to be connected to the character. This second character doesn't have the same problems. Is it possible that this is connected to another network bug I discovered yesterday? There was this guy spamming the local chat. I tried to block him, but each time (I tried twice) the game disconnected me instead. The problem wasn't there I tried this before. |

Where have we heard this b4? Sounds like that other guy wasnt crazy afterall ! 
Report this to SUPPORT! also try re-downloading the game might be corrupt file somewhere.. if that doesnt work dont get frustrated. Remember for all its worth "this is only a beta". Whatever that means !

I did write an eMail to support and also filed a bug report.
I don't think it is connected to the local files, since this character works. Only my main does this, so it's probably something with the character files on the server. In any case, I wont download this again. I did three times already and it takes two days each time (including patches, due to slow internet). If this can't be fixed otherwise, I will just not play that character anymore...would suck, but as you said, this is a beta. No use getting attached to stuff that can vanish every second. If this was retail I might ***** a bit about it, but I mainly posted here to get feedback from people who might have experienced something similar and could possibly know a quick fix. I won't get frustrated about this...there is enough other stuff to get frustrated about in this game ;) (hit detection and spawning in particular) |
