Fragmented or Acclerated. I've been using Accelerated but i'm wondering if the extra splash of the Fragemented would be worth the sacrifice in damage. I usually pilot and rarely gun, so i'm looking for opinions from some dedicated gunners.
Thoughts? |

I'm not a gunner, but I can tell you what my gunner told me: accelerated. The improved accuracy is really helpful, apparently. |

Cycled cycled it is all about the fear factor of rocks raining down everywhere. :) Thats what Bob would say anyways.

Cycled just shoots faster right? It doesn't shoot multiple missiles does it? |

Cycled definitely. It shoots twice as fast as the other turrets and with two of them going, it truly is fear inspiring. |

I'm a good DS pilot but at least once I've done a backflip and slammed into a building. Wonder what my gunner was thinking?
To answer op my corp gunners all prefer fragmented. The added splash damage helps when the ship/Target are moving. |

Frags are doing better on LAV as they help to get infantry out behind cover. Concerning the wobbliness of DS flight I agree that the Cycled will be better for raining more damage on an area, instead of DS gunners trying to snipe around corners. |

Cycled might do more damage over time, but it has a smaller blast radius, making it harder to hit with it, so I think cycled is best on a slow moving vehicle like a tank. I tried both fragmented and accelerated on my dropship, but while the fragmented has a larger blast radius, it has lower damage, while the accelerated turret has higher damage AND travels faster, and I have found that my gunners do better with accelerated turrets. |
