what are the ideas with the star map for the future? what are you guys planing to do with them is it gonna be like fraction fights for planets or systems or what? |

I think it may be used to "jump clone" from system to system. Basically, I think the battle finder will only allow you to accept a contract in your current system. You will might be able to view contracts in other areas, but you probably have to travel to those stations to accept contracts in them. That is pure speculation, though, based on my knowledge of how the contract system in Eve works. |

Well CCP is keeping their lips shut on a lot of what they want to do with Dust, but I can tell you that we will be hired for Corporations in EVE to fight over the planets you can see on the star map, now we won't be the ones to take the solar system and I don't think we'll be taking the planets either (that's for the big flying ships in EVE to take care of,) but what we will do is make it a hell-of-a-lot easier for them to take the planet or system. One way we'll do that is the massive gun on certain planets that we'll fire into EVE ships to aid in combat up there (as shown in the Dust trailer videos,) I've heard we might also be able to shut down the local chat channel in EVE for the solar system we're fighting for (Might not seem like much, but Local shows anyone who's on it, in other words everyone who's in the solar system friendly or foe, big tactical aid if you ask me) That's all that comes to mind right now for me as to how we'll be fighting in the star map, but I know we'll also be able to fight in the constant militia war between all the factions of EVE (Amarr vs Minmatar, Gallente vs Caldari) |
