Beta Tester Officer Weapons!!!

Negative-Feedback 2046	Posted - 2012.09.11 14:48:00 - [1] - Quote As a reward to the closed beta testers I thought it would be an awesome idea if CCP looks up who got the most kills with a particular weapon and slapped there name on a new rare salvage weapon at launch. This doesn't have to be limited to weapons either, possibly even rare repair tool and nano injectors for the players that rezzed the most fallen teammates or the most hp restored with the repair tool. Also the most vehicles and instillation destroyed with swarms and forge guns. If CCP is willing to do it they can even contact the player to get any particular preferences the player wants to see in the weapon or the specific name they want to use for the weapon. Post and tell me what you think of the idea. Weapons don't have to be based on the the sheer number of kills but also accuracy after a curtain number of kills, does anyone else have any other ideas for the way this could be judged. Since the rare, beta tester, salvage weapon idea is a little out there how many people think that CCP should at least release the top 10 killers for each weapon as well as the top 10 most points repaired or most revives as a logibro for each build? If so what other information would you like to see that the devs have recorded? so far: most kills with each individual weapon (including nova knifes and turrets) most revives most hp repaired most tanks destroyed (with AV and turrets separate) most WP earned subtracting the WP earned from kills edit: sorry these stats can't be released right now but maybe once we are done testing when the game launches

Even though, i'd rather CCP to choose a more fair chance to get your name used as an officer weapon than just the amount of time you can spend on the beta. Unfortunately for the people who can't play as often I can't come up with a way to make it fair for them. If something like this happen the name of an officer weapon should go to the best players. Also in this build alot of good players have not participated due to bugs and its also not fair to them as well. Since this is such a player driven game I do want to see something like this happen. Maybe we can do it based on the stats and performance of a player throughout the entire beta rather then just a specific build. Of course some weapons weren't available throughout the whole beta. Those will have to be an exception and only based on the players performance with it while it was available. If anyone has any good ideas to judge something like this or what factors should decide who would get their own officer weapon please share.
