IGÇÖve been doing some thinking and what this game really needs is contract levels offered up by the eve players to the dust mercs. Something to cover the bills if you will.
GÇóFirst Level Standard contract base pay rate of 100k isk base rate per match, plus 10k for each kill nothing more after that.
GÇóSecond LevelLittle higher pay rate say 150k isk base rate per match, 15k to 20k for each kill and half the cost of vehicles.
GÇóThird Level Best pay in the game 250k isk base rate per match, 30k to 50k per kill and cover the full price of any support vehicles requested in the match.
Just a thought putting it out there to see whatever one thinks oh and I almost forgot is this a beta or is this a beta. Why isnGÇÖt ever last thing on the market "1" isk like on the test server? |

If contracts are going to be anything like Eve they're gonna be totally open and free-form. Hopefully they are. |

Yeah, pretty simiple. Open contracts, not "levels".
If Joe offers a contract for 100,000 isk, but you want more money....Just go to Bob, and accept his contract for 500,000 isk. That simple. |

Not really sure how much good 500,000 isk is going to be if you spent 1.5mil isk to get the job done. But hey stick with that dream and let me know how it turns out. |

It will find it's own balance. Go back to when Incursions were first released in EvE. The rewards that were being reaped from participating started off with HUGE value in Isk when traded between players. Then came the undercutters, people that were selling their rewards for (what most of the community thought anyway) a much lower value. The Incursion runners community tried to band together and stop the practice by refusing to sell for lower amounts, but of course that just made the undercutters that much more sought after. Everything in the game is only as valuable as you deem it. If your time is worth less to you than someone else, then you will sell your time for less. Obviously there is the need for compensation for materials lost, but just like when contractors are bidding a job, sometimes you underbid yourself.
TL;DR The system will be open, and as stated before, if you don't like the price offered then you don't take it. |
