That would be awsome like if your planet gets invaded and you can declare war. There should be a ingame system that tells you your _________ territory has been taken by so so then it would say "Would you like to declare war" or "Make allies" something like that would be awsome. Also what happens when you find nuetral territory? |

I believe that happens entirely outside the mechanics of the game, but still does happen. You see, with only 300 members in a single Corporation, "Alliances" are what help to ensure a Corporation's survival.
What I mean is, for example, right now I'm aware that Zion and STB are on friendly terms. The two groups may choose to "form an alliance", but there is no mechanics in game to do this, I believe. If a Corporation were to "declare war" on STB (again there are no mechanics to do this either), the attacking Corporation would find they have to fight Zion as well.
However, since there is nothing in place to ensure this happens, some Corporations may choose to lie and form a fake alliance to gain protection while setting up to betray their "ally". So in the above example, Zion might come in to fight for STB, and then STB might turn around and "finish off" Zion to take all their territories now that they have been weakened by expending all their resources in the name of protecting STB.
Again though, this is all entirely hypothetical, and some of it may even be incorrect. We'll certainly all know more once we are able to form our own Player Corporations. |

Thank you. I have not played EVE. I have heard of all the Corporate backstabbing that goes on, but I was unaware that it was actually coded into the game itself. I merely assumed that it was people being their usual jerk selves and CCP simply allowing it to happen in the name of the greater EVE Universe. |

In EVE Online, Alliances and Corporations can declare war on each other and this will be visible when you view either the Alliance or Corporation information.
It's been a long time since I've played EVE but when an Alliance declares war on each other, all Corporation are affected by this. I seem to remember that when you meet an enemy corp member you'll even see their names in red or something like that. |

EVE has supported declared wars and alliances for years. It's not as simple as "Declare war? (yes/no)", but you can declare war whenever you want on whoever you want. You can then attack (and be attacked) by that group at will, even in high-sec with no penalty.
Standings are also supported, so a character/corp/alliance can set their standings toward any other person/corporation/alliance and it will show a little icon in-game. So if you don't like a certain corp, you can set standings negative (bad) and anyone in your corp will know "we don't like these guys", or vice versa with good standings.
So yes, all this is coming--it's just a matter of when, or how Soon(TM).
I don't think STB understands what is probably coming their way when these mechanics are added. In EVE and probably DUST, you can't go around making enemies with everyone without incurring consequences, unless you have lots of powerful allies.
Let's put it this way: if you make enough enemies in EVE, you can basically be unable to leave the station because your enemies will camp the station and destroy you if you leave, using locator agents to find you, etc. Some people have to resort to playing their alts instead or even disbanding the corp and making a new one. Of course, if you have allies or enough money to hire allies (ie: mercs), then you have other options.
I dont' know if this will be possible in DUST, but at the very least, they could be unable to own any territory or property and basically be stuck in high-sec with the newbies and carebears. |

Nothing's stopping you from declaring anything! This is a public forum where your ambitions to wage war against another player entity could be well-publicized.
Or maybe you're not feeling quite as bloodthirsty now? ;) |

No. That concept is about 2-3 years out of date. We will be able to have cross-game corps and own districts on planets, and probably more (warbarges, MCCs, etc). |
