By running, I'm guessing you mean sprinting? Because if so, I think the current method is fine. Sprinting and reload will encourage just sprinting in circles and reloading and shooting back. |

I support this with the following adjustments:
While reloading and sprinting, reloading takes twice as long as normal. In addition, every one second the game randomly does one of the following:
75% chance: Reload continues normally
10% chance: Your character fumbles the magazine, canceling the reload. One full magazine of ammo is lost, unrecoverable.
5% chance: Your character trips, slamming face first into the dirt. You are briefly unable to move as your character stands up again. This also cancels the reload and wastes a magazine.
7% chance: Your character loads the magazine incorrectly, causing the weapon to jam the next time you attempt to fire, requiring another reload to fix it.
3% chance: Your character loads the magazine very incorrectly, causing your weapon to explode the next time you attempt to fire. This kills the mercenary. |

I want the reload system to have save points IE take magazine out counts as one. Click in counts as 2 and priming is final. |

I don't know about sprinting and reloading because most other shooters out there don't offer that, but I'm all for being able to move and reload. The current reload system is terrible. |

I just hate getting stuck in an infinite reload loop when trying to escape enemy fire. Character can go through the reload animation four or five times if you keep sprinting, ducking behind cover, sprinting, if you empty a clip and then try to run away. |

I honestly don't see the problem with running and reloading, BF3 does it fine, and in that you die in 4 shots...
Its not gonna have as big an impact as people think. |

+1
I might find the change acceptable if the load time were increased by doing it while sprinting. But honestly the present system seems fine to me so I'd rather the development resources be spent elsewhere.

Sux when you run out of ammo and can either move get behind cover and wait to reload or stand there and hope they run out of ammo also and you are quicker on the reload and don't die while reloading |
