Does aim assist actually do anything when toggled on? I have tried it both on and off and havent really noticed any difference. I was hoping that aim assist would provide a "sticky" aim normally found in most console shooters. But I do not see it. Is this perhaps a feature they havent really worked out yet?
The aim in this game is pretty rough. Its like playing halo and trying to shoot your team mates, without sticky aim, its really difficult to do so, and not very fun. You get the same vibe here.
I switched over to kb&m for a bit, and the game plays a lot better on it, you feel less handicapped. I, however, hate KB&M FPS and really stay away from PC based shooters.
But in this game, strong aim assist(sticky aim) will be needed for the controller to be able to compete with KB&M, and right now that feature is extremely lacking. Do they have any plans to fix that? Is aim assist even functioning right now? I dont personally see the difference with it on or off. |

Same here except I still get auto aim on dead people even with it turned off, I havent managed to catch a spawner which is the only other time it kicked into auto aim mode.
As for assists I haven't noticed it. |

It's there. Not very pronounced in comparison to Crysis 2 and the like, but I've noticed it a couple of times. (It seems a lot less tied to ADS than other shooters; might even be off entirely when doing so.) |

As for aim assist not noticed any difference if it's on or off |
