1. Add an option to the Battle Results Screen to join the next Battle without going to the Merc Quarters. This would eliminate one unnecessary loading screen.
2. Maps without proper spawn points have to disappear. This is a team based game, and not knowing where I will spawn is frustrating. It happens too often that I spawn directly in front or behind enemies, leading to unfair advantages. Also it is annoying to spawn in the middle of the battle with a Sniper Rifle or at the edge of the map with an Assault Rifle. Objectives that are in the process of switching alignment (Virus uploaded, not already during hacking), should not be usable as spawn points.
3. Snipers need some balancing. The weapon sway makes it impossible to aim without camping, and camping makes it impossible to survive for extended times.
4. Team balancing is wonky. I was pitted against new players in one match and against experts in the next. Balanced matches (where the clone counter or MCC health is roughly the same on both sides) are extremely rare.
5. One thing that bugs me, but is probably unsolvable, is how much difference the gear makes. The worst offenders are the Aurum Weapons that are based on higher tier weapons, but have the same skill prerequisites as the bottom tier weapons.
6. I would like to have the current KDR on the HUD.
7. Why can't I view the player list and/or clone repository/MCC health while waiting to respawn?
8. I'd like some more distinct differences between the dropsuits, for example invisibility for Scouts, increased defense against vehicles for Heavies or jetpacks for Assaults, alowing them to jump higher and/or dash very fast.
EDIT:
9. Switch the buttons for melee and weapon switch.
10. Not sure about this, but disabling mouse&keyboard controls might benefit the balance. |

hey here is a few comments
2. you should start putting drop up links in to your fit so you can help your team out (as you said, this is a team based game) and then you can spawn at the edge of the map if you so wish (damn you campy snipers :P)
4. when the game is released there will be diffrent servers depending on what load outs you use, ieproto only servers and millitai only, also the intant battle option will take in to account you SP SOONGäó
7. yeah i want this too, to see the player list you have to press start and go that way and then to get out of it you press circle and that cancels your spawn count down, something small but annoys me Just wish I could press up on the D pad like in game and that will show the player list

10. Do you mean stop people using Keyboard and mouse? Because personally at the moment it is not an advantage (I have played as many PS3 shooters as PC so I like both controller and KB/M the only time I ever use KB/M is when I am sniping the rest of the time I just use the controller. BTW have you tried KB/M ? |

Haven't tried it personally, because I don't have any horizontal space available near my console. But I assume it allows for more precision. Disabling it would make sure that all players use the lowest common denominator (OK...maybe not all, but if you are a Move-player, you are beyond help ). The balance issues due to gear is bad enough.
But as aI said, this is a low priority thing. Mostly because I think that many players would disagree. |
